Criticism, anyone?

@Speck-san: LOL The video /shot. Well again the bgm too low D: Everyone have a problem or it's me? ;3; I don't have many notices :3 Your voice is nice but your mic kills it ;n; New mic? /shot. & some parts need harmonies :3 ( That's so helpful OTL )

@Pronch: O.O' I didn't put harmonies in my video. As for the background music I'm always told it over powers my voice so I turn it down too low but I thought the balance was quite nice in this video. Oh well I'll try and fix that issue when it come time to make another video.

@Speck: Like pronch your mic quality could use alittle help but I'm here to critique your singing not your mic quality ^.^' As for your singing. You sound slighty unconfident and sometimes your voice tends to lose energy and goes flat. You sound as if you're trying to sing when everyone is asleep and you don't want to wake them up. Sing out and add more energy to your singing. Also your 'La's at the beginning of the song and the middle part of the song you sounded so unsure like you couldn't make up your mind whether they were supposed to go there. Also there were some slight timing issues. As for positives I liked the Announceation you had throughout the video the listener could clearly tell what syllabls you were singing and when. You also have a nice smooth voice so be more confident and bring it out.

Sorry if my critique was harsh I'm used to giving straight forward critiques. I'm not doing it to be mean I just want to let you know what you could work on so that you're fandubs can improve. I say it out of love ^.^v

@Aziro: Very pretty! You run out of energy on the high notes here and there, and take really really unsuitable big breaths (can be minimised through making them softer in mixing). You're also a bit pitchy here and there, and I think more because you run out of energy to carry the phrases? Like I kept getting the impression that you keep running out of energy while singing XD;;. It's a tough ballad to sing though, so I'm not surprised. You fudged the timing here and there too ><;; (sorry, that sort of thing really bugs me XD). Your voice just sort of feels really...heavy though. Like, not light/airy enough for this song...!? It's nothing to do with your singing, just me thinking it doesn't quite suit the song XD;;.
I think what this was lacking the most was definitely emotion. That's what sets a good ballad apart from an amazing one. Feel the song!! FEEEEEL IT!!!! *shot*

@Speck: Mic...T___T. Then again I've been spoiled by the fact all my Nico friends own expensive mics lmao (you don't know how amazing skype convos are when you can hear everyone). You sound like you're mumbling the lyrics the entirely way through to be honest - they're mostly right, but you sound very unconfident ><. Sing out more!! Some parts were super cute though :3. The high notes in the chorus and C-mero sounded like a challenge for you though - your voice sounds like a very very smooth alto voice, and you sounded best on the low notes!

@89924: I think it sounds pretty good. But, like low notes tend to be, there are moments when you get the "bored" tone. I don't know how to fix that, but perhaps practice more with it to get your voice comfortable with the range. There are also some notes that sound slightly off, but that's to be expected in a low range you don't usually sing in. Practice would make things better. Also, it sounds like you're just learning the song right now, so it's alright for it not to be perfect.
I loooove what you're doing with some of the notes, sliding up/down to the next one. It adds to the effect that's supposed to be given off from this song and it's great. Turning the karaoke track on louder could cover some glitches and generally, could make your voice blend with the track even more.

Overall, good job!

Here's something you might want to improve:
On the verses, which are the parts besides the chorus, some notes were a bit off. Like, "suyasuya, yume wo miteru". The red parts are only a tiny bit off, but it'll sound so much better when they're fixed. (and there's more off notes in the second verse, I asume you got tired singing XD)My suggestion is that you should practice more on lower notes.
For the chorus, you should use more of your support on the stomach. Try sending through more air. It'll soften the sharp sound when you sing high notes and make it sound more, uhmm, strong and stable? I don't know the word....
And at 4:59 that "last night" part. NO, DARLING. DON'T DO THAT TO YOUR VOCAL CHORDS. IT'LL GET DAMAGED. If your voice turns out to sound like that, stop recording for now and have a few hours or a day of rest. Really, it's bad for your voice. You don't want to damage it too much that you'll sound like that for the rest of your life. I'M NOT EVEN JOKING. IT'S POSSIBLE. The nice thing about recording is that you don't need to do the whole song in one shot, take that advantage.<3
But overall, it's a really nice cover. I'm never a fan of Last Night Good Night, but it's one of the better dubs I've heard on youtube.

@Kumbancha: LNGN is a hard song to pull off, and yet everyone tries to sing it Q_Q. WHY!?!?!? But. My woes aside, that was not as bad as some butcherings of the song I've heard. You sound very uncomfortable singing the low notes somehow. I think it's mostly because you put a bit TOO much power into them, when really you should work to a crescendo in the chorus, and therefore start the low notes soft, and then gradually build up to the chorus. As for the chorus, especially towards the end, you were straining so badly that I wanted to like, pull you down from up there ><;;. Your notes were wavering, and they sounded very forced. Sure, you might have a big range, but I think it's better to utilise it where you're most comfortable singing :3. That's why I mostly try to stay away from the extremely high stuff these days, because while I can hit the notes, I don't sound good XDD;;.

Anyway, uh, idk. This is not going anywhere - nico or youtube or anything. I just wanted to sing it because I love DATEKEN, but I don't sound good singing his songs, so sad. This song is so simple, but I had such a hard time singing it, and even then I struggle with the notes Q_Q. Sometime in the future I'm going to have to mix a Cardioid groupdub again, so I wanted to test the effects/mixing out as well. Again, played with mastering the track again 8D. I'm not sure if I did the mastering well though - the vocals sound too loud...? I have no idea! I hate listening to my voice! XD
