Monthly Themes

YTChorus will have a new theme each month, where members can participate in one way or another. Because many of our members have multiple talents, entries for each theme will not be limited to covers only.

Acceptable Kinds of Entries

• Covers (solo, duet, choruses are all okay!)
  
• Translyrics
  
• Art
  
• Writing
  
• Compositions
  

Where do we submit them?

There will be a specific thread each month to submit entries to. Entries must be done during the month and cannot be done before or after. Each theme will begin on the first day of the month and close on the last day.

How many times can you enter?

As often as you'd like! You can do five covers that fit the theme if that makes you happy! :)We do expect some kind of effort though. Don't just draw stick figures for art or write a very short piece for a story for your entries. :(We also require that if you sing a cover, the song must be at least 1:30 long.

Will there by any winners?

While we will not specifically feature any one entry, we will have the threads devoted to each theme, and there is a chance your entry could be featured in a different event! More details on that to come.

So why do these themes?

Well... for one, it can be as inspiration, if you can't think of anything to do. For another, you will be bribed given badges for participating! For every three consecutive months that you participate in the monthly themes, you will receive a shiny badge. Participate in it six consecutive months, then you get another one! If at any time you miss a month however, you will have to start over.

Please note that this is exclusive to the forums and will not be put on the YTChorus channel due to the variety of entries we may be receiving. However, there will be a special place for the entries to go, so people will still be able to access them easily!
