What microphone do you use?

i use a Gigaware mic... its connected to my headphones thingys i really dont know if it works good its really cheap..

I use the Guitar Hero microphone ;n; Cuz it's all I got.

It's pretty good though.

There's always the de-ess effect, to reduce static; and the condenser trick from FSH that I use lately; to make you sound as if you have a good mic. :3

I have Samson C03U USB Condenser Mic. Its really good with picking up voices and even string instruments!

Sad thing my room is just too big and I have to record right beside the window and yes I agree about the airplane sound. I went sooo dead after Spain won the World Cup trying to erase all the honking noise that got into my recording. Hahahaha. Spain rocks though > <

I fail.ALl i have is my Mom's webcam..But its quality isnt bad. It makes your voice very hard to hear and cant record loud noises.Only if you are like, 10 feet away. But overall, its a pretty good webcam. Its just.....it makes noise before you start recording.

I use a Samson R10S. It's pretty decent but whenever I record on Audacity, you can barely hear my voice even when the input level is like at its highest. So I always have to use High Pass Filter and Amplify for my fandubs. >_< But overall it's okay...=\
I'm hoping to get a USB mic in the future...

I've just bought Logitech ClearChat Comfort USB headset+mic... Not really good IMO, as the raw voice sounds a little buzzy and blargh ;o;
I prefer my Creative HS-390 (which isn't even an USB hs+mic, but it's broken now) as it captures very clear sound without those -zzzz- noise etc 8(

I just the internal microphone built into my Mac. It works pretty well. o3o

Any suggestions on a mic? I'm planning to save and I'm stumped on what mic to buy.

The new one I bought records my voice as it is.. but it sounds of low quality.. and when I sing high ptched.. it sounds.. really weird...
Is there a way to sound good I'm desperate of this..

I had to Google it since it's been in my house for god knows how long 8D
therefore, it's stand is broken so I use an egg holder and a fluffy sock on top of it to hold it and block the noise [even though it barely helps. Thus, I abuse Noise Removal alot. ^ ^;;]

Samson is used by a lot of singers on Youtube. I'd say it's a really trusted brand, so if you have the money, you can go for it, but consider other options as well. There are other condenser mics that might be better. owo

You know, they say dynamic mic makes your voice sound thicker. So you can consider. They are cheaper than condenser mic too. ( Dynamic Mic = I think its those stick with a ball on it kind of mic =X )

I'm using a Plantronics Headset. I bought it for about S$30+ if I remember correctly. I'm telling you, The microphone is worst than the one I used before that is worth S$25.

And I thought plantronics had good reviews regarding audio/recording stuffs.

My vocal recording now sounds muffled compared to before. I had to do some graphic equalizer with it in Adobe Audition ( Which I'm not very good at it )
