Did anybody here already receive complains from neighbors (because of recording)?

I am curious. I still haven't receive any. But I'm paranoid that my neighbor hears me during my unbearable recording session.
I record three feet away from window. My neighbor's window is just a feet away from mine. I'm living solo in a dorm.

Our wonderful Clear-san said he received complaints from neighbors before.

So the topic question: DID ANYBODY HERE ALREADY RECEIVE COMPLAINS FROM NEIGHBORS, FAMILY, OR ANYBODY YET? if yes, what did they say?
I'm also curious where everybody does their recording. So share your story. ^__^

So far no complaints much since i record very late at night or early morning. I have my own room thankfully, but it's not that sound proof, so i need to be careful as well not to disturb family members...

At least the walls of the house are cemented, so only people inseide the house might hear it... I think...

My mom says I sound like a dying cat when I sing 8D

I usually don't record when they're at home, but when I play Rock Band vox, it's ok ROFL.

I've never had a single complaint for neighbors even when I record drum covers, let alone vox XD

I personally haven't and well, I don't think I ever will because I always record at times when people are not home and I don't really make a lot of noise, but if someone ever did complain to me I would slam the door on their face

All the time from my younger sister(Some Skype friends know her orz) She teases me too much and sometimes even yells at me to stop my annoying horrible screeching attempts at singing. It's mostly because of her that I have little confidence in my singing, and I don't post much on my yt.

i practically can be heard throughout the neighborhood according to my mom's friend who lives at the end of the neighborhood OAO

Family: I wouldn't even dare to sing at our house.
Basically I'm on hiatus every sem break.

From my parents and brother, yes. o-o I'm positive that my neighbours can hear me, cos like, I record about a metre away from the window, and my neighbour's window is just about a metre away too. And my voice can get really loud when I actually DON'T record but just sing out. (......don't ask, idk either, but it just happens to be so.)

Hmm, my house is at the end of our street next to a vacant one, with lots of trees and a construction site nearby xD
But nah, even my mom or Todd don't say anything about it! The good thing about having paper-thin walls is that they know when to NOT come into my room xD
And I also sing in front of my computer, my room is pretty small! Though if I get into a song I'll dance around sometimes too!

My mom cheers me on, my brother tells me to shut up, my neighbors keep their shotguns loaded. ;D

I have received complaints though XD; it can't be helped

ummm. well.. I've never received any complains from the neighbors.. but I'm afraid that someone from the apartment that I'm living can hear me singing..;;; because normally.. when I sing I get louder and I feel that someone can hear me.. because I can hear a baby crying from the bottom from where I'm living and when I hear the baby crying I feel nervous that they can hear me singing.. but I always think.. "oh well.. whatever.."

LOL this is the story of my life. Well actually, I haven't had any complaints-- yet-- but whenever I hear a rustling noise outside, I immediately shut up and wait for it to be quiet again. I also run around the house closing any window I find, haha. xD My house's walls are thin and I can hear when people are talking (at a normal volume!) outside so I KNOW my neighbors have heard me at least once.

On a side note, who would ever complain about Clear's singing? I'd probably put my ear against the wall and listen to him practice. xD;;

about Clear, I read it in a translated interview...i bet now the rooms near him are priceless

i sereiously get that alot from my sister since im tone deaf and shes not thats why i sing while shes in school...(or else she literally beats me up and ) i usually record in my room except for fridays and saturdays when im with my tinychat friends (theres no internet in the room go figure )
i still think the neighbors can hear me from the room since some typhoons have blown off parts of my roof... as for fridays and saturdays I GET IT ALOT since im at the balcony. sometimes they even throw stuff at me and im like how come you dont complain about the guy drumming like crazy on the other side of the street?!

Sometimes she interrupts, but usually she leaves me alone to sing in my room. Neighbours-wise...they have definitely heard me. Sound passes through here very easily, even if they talk in the corridor I can hear them. XD

My mom came home a few times just as I was belting (and attempting to record) songs. ;A;

I've never gotten a complaint
but i've had interuptions by my uncle who burps and farts near me on purpose just to throw me off

and because my computer is near the kitchen, you can sometimes hear the sink in the background of my recordings

i wish there was a portable singing studio i could buy under $400
even a little glass box would be okay
