Hoarse voice?

Hello guys, just wondering why my voice sounds all hoarse and its like from the other side of the phone when recorded.

I'm pretty sure it's not my mic because my sister records too and her voice is very clear.

I'm not sick as well so do you think I'm doing something wrong in my singing?

Any comments are appreciated.

That could be a reason. Drinking also affects it I think too.
It might also be due to some stuff you've done in the past, like screaming or sth. owo

He's 14 O_O can he even drink/smoke? =X ( Unless he does it illegally, of course )

Are you singing/talking? Because if you are singing, maybe you are singing with the wrong technique?
Does your voice sound hoarse to other people usually? Try asking your sister and yeah, screaming, etc may have damaged your voice.

I don't scream at all, and they said I don't sound hoarse, only when recording O_O

Anyway I'm 14 so I definitely don't drink or smoke XD

So yeah I'm probably just using some wrong technique

everyone has technique issues ( I do, seriously. )
and be happy you can actually WORK on it

Damaged voice is something that.. as far as I know, can't be recovered to what it used to be.
