Help with my voice?

If you've looked on my youtube channel, you've probably noticed I only have 1 Japanese song because I'm afraid of posting all the others. I don't know why, but I have some trouble when I sing Japanese. It's not an accent-I'm Chinese, so I got that down-it's just that when I sing Japanese...well...how do I describe this...I keep making some sort of snorting/grunting noise unconsciously and while it's not very loud, you can hear it pretty clearly. For some reason, I also sound like I'm...uh...drunk...that's the best way I can explain it. My words just sound kind of slurred and heavy...any suggestions people?

As Aniki said, I think you have a Chinese accent. I'm Chinese too so I understand lol. XD

It gets a bit obvious when you say "shi" (sound like you were saying 西), and "a" sounds like "wa" (挖), "ra" (拉).

Try not to sing it in "the Chinese way"-- when we sing in Chinese, our pronounciation have to be clearer because there are more pronounciations in Chinese than in Japanese, but you don't need to do that for Japnaese.

For example, in Japanese there are only "a, i, u, e, o", while in Chinese there are "a, o, e, i, u, v, ao, an, ai, ou, in, ie, ia, ian, iang.." and many more.
Because there are only 5 possibilities in Japanese, you don't need to sound clear to let the audience know what you're singing.

The only suggestion I have is that you can watch more anime, play more visual novel games with voice, and of course, listen to more Japanese songs (not sang by vocaloids).
