Noob utaite looking for advice
Hi everyone, I have started to upload videos on youtube i think about a year ago. Im fairly new with singing. But being an 'utaite' has always been my dream (doesnt necessarily have to be a lot of subs, but producing utaite kind of content). although it seems I've not much clue how to go from here; so I'll start by asking for your help- I went through the trouble of weeks trying to craft this piece. This is my first singing cover. Of course, it is not perfect to everyone's ear- so I hope to improve from hearing your feedback!
.
And I also struggle with creating instrumentals, they take quite a lot of time to make for me (as im honestly still an amateur) , though I put a lot of effort in them, it would be nice if i could just sing straight away. But then I would have to deal with some copyright issues, and i dont really have anyone to collaborate with. Any advice would be gladly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Noob utaite looking for advice
Wow! I think it's absolutely amazing!
Everything is really well balanced, especially if it's just your first cover!
Would love to see more stuff from you in the future! ^_^
That copyright issue sounds painful though! I mostly sing vocaloid songs so I haven't really had that problem before, and unfortunately I'm not too music-y so I can't be much help with this :c

Re: Noob utaite looking for advice
thank you very much I appreciate it @Catalyst
I just realized that the render settings were not good for internet distribution. (the volume got lower) and have tried to fix that by reuploading in niconico. /watch/sm30694161
Either way, in any case I'm very glad you liked it. Saying you want to hear more- It means lot to me. c':

I agree with Catalyst. I think you did a great job with the cover. The effects you chose were mixed in well and weren't overdone.
I'm impressed though. You make your own instrumentals?

Re: Noob utaite looking for advice
Thanks for the compliment Aerlith. Yeah, I've been creating a few instrumental covers since about a year ago. I think it's improved considering how you guys thought it's well mixed, very happy to hear that.
Though they take a lot of time for me to make (usually 2-3 weeks, rarely less than that) almost to the point I get sick listening to the song over and over again sadly; and bcz of college ive been very busy lately- so I haven't done anything music related.
If you have song suggestions, do feel free to let me know. Its hard to find time nowadays which one/songs may suit my voice
