YouTube copyright strikes

I don't know if it goes here or not but...

as an utaite on YouTube is great but our biggest danger is copyright strikes. I recently got 2 strikes. my question is..after a while..does YT delete the 2 strikes??

From my understanding, only after you remove your content? I don't know. I'm not sure how that works anymore

Nope they don't. Although you can remove those copyrighted stuff before YT finds out to avoid more strikes.

The main reason why people get strikes as they don't state who the copyright belongs to either properly or at all. Under international law as long as a copyright video is used for non-commercial use like just for fun and all copyright holders are stated even in the description, there's never really a problem as it's legally "Fair Use". You may get content ID matches still but as long as they are acknowledged there's usually no issue.

They remove the strikes, but only after a looooooooooooong time.

I had two strikes before, took me almost two years before YT took them out.

The remove the first strike after 6 months. /Unless/ you get another strike within that 6 month period.

/Most/ vocaloid songs will not give you a strike.
If the off vocal is available, generally it's allowed.

Few thing like,
Like Soraru's Aimai Elegy isn't allowed. (The PV /was/ made for him after all.)
Acoustic Version of Vivi isn't allowed. (The guitarist specifically said "Don't sing to this.")
Anything by OryoP isn't allowed. (He doesn't want his stuff on Youtube.)
