Very true. I'm studying a course at uni that's pretty much training us to conduct and write up research worth publishing in scientific journals, so I'm quite interested in looking further into 'basic matters.' I like music too sooo I guess that explains how I got carried away with the discussion.

I bring some news.

I went to the hospital today to see whether i got nodes on my vocal chords but the medic said me to keep taking the anti-swelling medicine (not sure what to call it in english) I have been taking due to my recently injured foot....

Sunday will be the last day of the medicine prescription so I will only be able to post my lines after monday.

Reading how many of you are ill makes me feel like I have an amazing immune system. Usually I'd have a cold by this time of year. I bet I'll get one soon though. The other day when I sat on the train, a few seats infront of me (facing my way) was a man who appeared to have a very bad cold (I don't want to describe what it sounded like when he blew his nose. I feel ill just recalling it). I somehow think his germs flew all the way over to me.

Now that I think about it, around this time last year I joined YTC and wanted to take part in a chorus, but then I had a cold so I didn't even bother auditioning. I felt very disappointed.

I think I have a great immune system but my mom and dad and coughthing(?) everywhere this past days..so I may get sick aswell?! @.@

I think October and lowered immunity are closely linked. Almost everyone I talk to has a cold! I'm always concerned about being the next victim. Colds are very annoying. You can't do anything properly. It's especially annoying when trying to concentrate on studies, or things like singing (which seems to be the major problem here).

Why didn't they get rid of the carrier of the first flu x years ago?! It would have made our lives now so much easier.

Considering how a 'super flu' would have developed from the normal flu, it would have still been useful to get rid of the cause in the first place. Who knows when we'll get a real 'super flu.' I don't want to imagine what damage it could cause! There are already enough bacteria and viruses around that keep changing. It's a pain.

Hmmm. I wonder when everyone's cold will be gone. I'm looking forward to hearing the chorus when it's done.

Doesn't that once again prove that we all have a decent immune system? I feel bad for those people who get seriously ill from every tiny infection.

I'm sometimes concerned that choruses will get cancelled when not everyone can hand in their lines on time. I haven't really auditioned for many, but it looks like a lot of them don't make it though.

I think I only auditioned for one so far and it got cancelled. If my memory doesn't fail me, you were in it as well. I'd have to check. LOL.

To be honest, I don't think bumping helps once the person who wanted to organise it doesn't reply anymore. Quite sad.
