I believe many ppl faking their voices.. accidentally (or not). Or maybe it's just his/her real voice..

As long as it sounds good+right, it would be acceptable But still, it's really annoying to listen such a fake voice all the time /nods

It truly is annoying to listen to REALLY fake cute voices that sound almost like a chipmunk =w= unless that really is how they sound like...

I try to keep my voice natural but my voice does go much higher than when I usually talk...basically so I don't sound like 50 year old lady with anger issues.

im faking it. but i use it for the fun only. if i were to use it seriously.. then it will be the serious cute or moe or just naturally loli(i'm already loli when i genberbent and approved by anba, himuro and Katie).
also. i also can go very low and does a old man voice.
depends. cause starting this year i found out that i have more than 1 vocal cord.

ok, ok but again, it's not good if you want a serious singing.

I personally think this 'fake, annoying' voice is something that's pinned to girls more than guys cause even when a guy uses a cute voice, it's not really annoying. It's just ... cute.
I'm okay with cute voices though, whether fake or not.
I used to hate it when I'd hear a girl using a higher pitched voice than I know she normally has and I'd want to go and grab her by the throat and- *cough*
But now, I'm perfectly okay with it.
Cute singing voices in particular make me gush cause I just think it's soooo cute
I myself can and have used a higher pitched, 'annoying' voice in some of my covers (not to mention it comes with this nasally-ness that's just a characteristic of my voice)
If you can hit higher notes with this 'fake' voice, I think it's just a showcasing of how much talent and control you have of your voice.
Similar to how people are just gifted with a wide enough vocal range to have a shota voice.

I mean, (going to pull in some NicoNico singers here) Hanatan used a fake voice in her duet of SukiKirai with ASK and it sounded fine. And that's definitely not her regular voice, which can be heard here in this duet of Aitai with Pokota.
But her fake voice wouldn't be considered annoying right? That's cause she used it with the right kind of song so it matched and sounded natural rather than forced.
So I think as long as such a voice is used in the right situation, it's fine. And even when it's not, I still think it's okay.
The only thing I worry about is that prolonged usage of the fake voice, especially if it's not what you naturally sound like, strains your vocal cords and could potentially damage them.
But, yknow, other than that, it's fine (:

Aside form that. I just remember something... I find it funny how you guys are all like

its the same exact people who are doing it over skype. with the "Chau" or "Hau" things and being clingly LOL .

Haha, it's like that for me! When I listen to myself singing I think I sound mature but I really have a childish tone to my voice.

"Cute" Voices.... to be honest, i'm not really fond of cute voices at all LOL, i mean some can be tolerable and there's only a rare handful i actually like. I think wifey (Una) and some of my other friends already know that i have never really liked my voice. Psh, some of you may be thinking, "Dude, your voice is high or something why hate cute voices fo?" I'm already aware of the fact it's high and to be honest... 'so what?'. Also, some cute voices are seriously hella' annoying. Oh ho ho, especially the fake "moe cute" types.
I really love deep, mature and womanly voices~ like wifey, ciel-nee, mong and lots of other people~ It's so pretty.

Some of you guys may think 'Oh, you have a high cute watever voice, you have it so easy and you have so many 'FANS' or people who like your voice"<-- see the wrong picture there? HAHAHA ==
Let me tell you, i have reasons why i dislike my voice.
1) IT's high and it's annoying
2) Yes, you attract unwanted old people
3) You get teased about it in real life
4) I rather have comments on my singing than my voice tyvm <.<;
5) WHY CANT I HAVE A PRETTY WOMANLY VOICE OTL!?

Subscribers? To be honest, they don't mean much to me anymore. The real supporters are those who support you and actually listens to your dubs etc. I don't know why people even bother trying to get more attention by faking their voices, because majority of subscribers these days don't really do anything but subscribe.
