Okay! So here I'm reading everyone's posts and I'm thinking: "Positively right!" I think each and every person's reason for saying "I fail" varies you know, depending on who they are and how they feel! But this is how I look at it: I believe I used to do it and still sometimes am tempted to use it, but I mean, it's not exactly a positive way to conclude your opinion about a cover you did, (And I see now that it's not totally negative either). But after awhile, don't you get tired of saying that you fail so much? Repitition gets stuff stuck in your head to the point where a part of you starts to believe it. So eventually, you'll keep saying it until you most likely truly believe that you DO "fail." But of course, I know thats not ALWAYS the case but the best thing you can do is do your best. If you're not satsified with it, do better next time. Bringing yourself down won't make you do better, but rather than saying "I fail," try to replace it! Maybe something like "I think I did okay, but maybe I could do better if..." it's all about the positive power!
It's easy t become discouraged, but all great singers didn't give up, did they? Wink
