- Yeah, they probably won't get to Kasuka and Simon. There's way too less time, unless they do an OVA or something. But they did hint at Simon's arc this episode with what Denis did, as well as Walker&Erika's conclusion of Denis' out-of-this-world's skills.
Maybe they just added them to the OP because they had some focus in the first arc. . . not really.
Also -- Simon and Denis are awesome.
And the Van Gang scene was WHOOAAA YEAHHHHHH AMAZING. Walker and Erika are so kickasss. Erika looks really pretty without her hat. 8D Except there was like, a consistency error. . . I think. It seemed like her hair bun thing moved to the side. I'll admit, I kept on staring at Kida's eyes whenever he got close ups. They looked so nice!
Oh, and Horoda. . . what'shisname. Is he that boyfriend guy of that one girl's?
And poor Takaguchi, I think that's his name. ;___;
Oh, I'm disappointed that we didn't really get to see a reaction from Kida when he found out about Mikado.

And so far, we haven't seen them yet on the anime than a cameo on episode 8.
At least, I hope to see them in the last episode T-T!

BUT OMG DOTACHIN AGAIN \o/ These last few episodes have so much Dotachin, it feeds my inner fangirl immensely.now all this show needs is more Tom Tanaka and I will be immensely pleased.
Uh, the rest seems to be even more building up though. >: I hope the next three eps go all out and make some crazy things happen. The preview does have Shizuo lying on the pavement in the rain, which intrigues me. :O (also, it means there'll be rain, which makes me happy. Rain is very good for dramatic scenes. *shot*)

So, episode 22:
oh god that was epic. I mean, like, the whole chase thing. xD It's nice to see some of the old characters again. I'm trying to figure out why that guy was in a bunny suit (I'm pretty sure he's the dude from episode 21 who was being harrassed by the Yellow Scarves, before Anri showed up and saved him). I like that guy. He's cool.
Ehhh, I was all yayy when Kida saved Anri. Then boooo. :<
I like how angsty the three are, aha.
Lol Shizuo -- "TOO MANY WORDS." *turns off phone*
And I can't believe, at the end of the episode when they showed some Dollars' member being beat up, that there were just so many people watching and not doing anything (god bless that guy who said he'd call the police).

I can't believe the next episode's the last one. DRRR is really popular -- I'm sure they can get another season. I'm wondering how they'll end it, though, seeing as the light novels still going like whoaaa (it keeps on introducing new characters, man).

On ANN, they also have seiyuus listed for Mairu and Kururi. Maybe they'll show up too? (Or did they somehow get misinformed?)

I can't believe how awesome Dotachin is. 8D Well, I can.
They crammed too many things into this episode. Like the Anri + Izaya scene. But I'm glad they included the Simon one. That was right on so many levels. Too bad the subbed version I was watching had the freakin' LOGO of the site covering up basically all the text. ;___;
And Saki emoted a lot more than usual.
Oh, Kinnosuke showed up again. I don't get why he was in the OP -- he only had like 10 minutes of screentime (and Kasuka had like. . . none).

Oh if you're wondering about Kinnosuke...
I shall write more once I actually watch that damn episode. In the meantime, I wonder it it will be worth it to find a way to buy the DRRR!! DVDs online... I mean, it'll make me feel less guilty for having downloaded the character songs...

- He was probably included since he was one of the "triggers" to the events in the second novel. He was even included in the cover spread
even though he was only called "some journalist"...And even though I say trigger, he definitely wasn't one of the main characters, thus the abyssmal screentime.
Kasuka is one of the main heroes in the fourth novel, which is why I'm assuming he'll appear in the extra episode.

- To be honest, I think that the anime fanbase is a bit too harsh on Saki, saying that it is her fault that the trio split up (isn't that more Trollzaya's fault? lol.). Well I haven't had the the time to watch episode 24 yet, so I'm not sure how she was portrayed, but the novel made it clear that leaving was Masaomi's decision and that Saki wasn't the only factor.
I shall write more once I actually watch that damn episode. In the meantime, I wonder it it will be worth it to find a way to buy the DRRR!! DVDs online... I mean, it'll make me feel less guilty for having downloaded the character songs...

- MMM I approve! I love me some Shizuo and Kadota, and the last ep had spades of them. XD I thought the animation kind of went back to being good again, which is all good. :D :D :D AND SIMON. SIMON, I KNEW YOU JUST NEEDED SOME TIME BEFORE YOU KICKED A@# FOR US. XDDD I secretly wished that Izaya took more of a beating, but now
he looks like Prince Zukohe has a giant red fishball on his face. 8DDD
I thought the Saki part was a bit out of place, but I'd roll with it. XD Personally, I would have loved to see a really dramatic/crazy fight scene to end the show with a bang (much like the scene where Horoda was trying to catch Anri) becuase I thought that was what the series was better at, but I thought it ended well enough. XD I can't wait for the DVD eps though, I WANT TO SEE KASUKA. (so amused to see Saki Fujita as Ruri XDDD I thought the full version of that song she sings is a bit strnage though XD)
