[CLOSED] Artist for Senbonzakura Trio

Hi!

We are doing a trio of a piano&acoustic version of Senbonzakura. Currently have a mixer and an animator (Thank you, Emi!), so we are looking for art now. ^^

Kaito's Senbonzakura outfit for Reizu
Stubble is canon. Stubble must be included. Glasses, too.
Luka's outfit for Shinra:
Yellow/orange color pallet and maybe some leaves going up from the bottom of the apron. She would like the ears and tail to show.
Rin's outfit for Aerlith: Teal for main color, white for the secondary color. Knee-length socks, skirt a few inches above knee. Don't need a pattern. And no eyepatch please. Hair should be past the waist. >w<b;

I am very interested in this project and I would like to try my hand at making art for it.

I have some questions, though:

- Would it be alright if I got to listen to the version of Senbonzakura you three are going to cover? Even just the instrumental would be fine.
- Is your costume really Miku's, or were you thinking of Rin's costume? I became a little confused when you said "no eyepatch please".

Ah, so it's a mix of Osamuraisan's acoustic guitar version and a Synthesia piano version... Very interesting.

I will get to work on art, then. Hopefully I will be able to turn something in within a week's time.

Do you have any samples of your art so we can get super excited? :D And if you aren't able to finish in a week, don't worry. >w<b We are still working on getting lines done, too. ^^

And yeah! I got the idea from the piano&acoustic version of Sarishinohara, so I wanted to try combining the two for Senbonzakura. Marasy's version was a biiiiit too fast, so I found Synthesia's, and that one was perfect!

By the way, are you able to do digital art with transparent backgrounds? I'm not sure what Emi (our project animator) requires for the art, but just want to make sure everyone is on the same page.

I already poked Reizu about this in the raidcall, but I also mentioned that I could totally do art for your trio if the other artist doesn't ping back or whatever o/

i've just been using the low res reference for the costumes but when I get onto linework I'll hunt down a better one so i can fix the details I couldn't make out especially well in the small res ref.

edit: also, I will be redoing reizu's sketch because I just realized now I made the overall anatomy too wonky (aka he's too short LOL )

A week is a deadline for myself, actually, since if it passes without me finishing anything, I will most likely not finish anything unless no one else really does. Which is sad.

I have made a portfolio already, and you can see it by clicking on the link under our supposed avatar.

@reizu: I will be making the backgrounds transparent (we do have access to Photoshop now, fortunately) and will be doing full body drawings.

I am also going to make drawings for me, the mixer (is there a separate mixer?), and the animator, just so. I need OC references, though.

Also, in response to Alroetsue's question in the sketch for reizu's OC, they are geta and boots. Geta boots.

It seems that I may have jumped into the helping out in choruses thing too soon... Work suddenly piled up.

If it is alright with the rest of you, I would like to leave the art to Alroetsue, since she is more available. Sketches are free to either use or discard.

By the way, would you want to have a sketch too, Alroe, before I leave it to you completely?
