Because every forum I join needs to have an attic full of fish. \o Here is where I will be posting my latest covers/collaborations. I cover mostly Vocaloid songs with some anime and Chinese and am slowly expanding into Touhou. Because Touhou is awesome. Older videos can be found on my YT channel here. I also have a Soundcloud that has a few songs not on YT here.

Well, first I think it's good if you higher up your voice or lower the bgm a bit. Timing was a little bit off in the beginning (I think you're a bit after the music). But otherwise your voice is pretty ^^ I guess it's most about the mixing, but you're doing great!

I agree with Chii-chan~ the BGM was overpowering your vocals a little bit. I only noticed the timing for the "odoru no~" part was a little off.
Nevertheless, your voice is really wonderful Aerlith~! and for that~~~ //subscribes

Oops. Timing's my other issue. 8D;; I think part of it is also my headphones are very sensitive, so for me it sounds normal.. but okay! Note to self! >w< Make sure vocals are a bit louder for me so that they are more normal for other people.

And huh, thought I was on in the beginning.. Note to self~! Listen to other peoples' covers of this song to help with timing issues!

Hey Aerlith-chama~

They already said it >.< Haha.. And I think I remember commenting that the instrumental is overpowering your voice a bit. But anyway, I think aside from increasing the volume a bit, a little more reverb will definitely help your covers sound awesomer! Wink

Lovely as usual Prairie Squirrel~ I only have two constructive criticisms for you. 1.Your voice is either drowned out by the music or the music is drowned out by your voice. It tends to be one or the other. That could just be a difference of headphones though. 2. Your voice fluctuates a lot when you are holding out a note. Its kind of hard to describe, but I noticed it a couple of times in A Thousand Year Solo. Otherwise, your voice is really soft and airy but in a good way.~

...Oops. thanks for pointing that out. I tend to listen to music really loudly so sometimes I forget to check the volume for my covers. I will make sure to be more careful. And yeah, I need to work on a steadier voice! I do agree with you that my voice tends to fluctuate sometimes and also sounds like it is close to breaking. Will work on that, too, thanks for the feedback! :D

WOW SUCH PRO

I love how you did the chorus, all dat passion belts ooh yeah bbu, and the clarity yes, good mixing vorg and shinra.
You handled the pitches real well and I enjoyed the whole cover ~~withoutfallingasleep~~ , the timing was pretty accurate too, or at least i didn't notice any problems in it. xD The harmonies also matched really well with the vocals, albeit some adlibs can be added to pump up the song. ~~notthedirtypumpupifyouknowwhatimean~~

When you can't do it yourself, ask for help. 8D....

The reason why the timing and the pitch are perfect are 'cause Shinra helped me take care of it. 8D;; I couldn't do that on my own.

BUT YES. THIS SONG IS SO AWESOME. D: I had to have a pro mix it.
