Blast From the Past! Digimon xD

Okay so last night I wanted to do something a little different and asked my sister if I could borrow the VCR (XD) before bed, and she asked why...and I embarassingly kinda admitted that I wanted to watch the digimon movie on Tape! Much to my surprise, she wanted to watch it too!

So as I was watching, I got a blast from the past! LOVE the voice acting from the 90's. It's classic!
I had to laugh at all the cheesy sayings too xD Let's see...there was something like...OH! In the 3rd Arc of the movie when Veemon Digivolved he was all like: "The Flame of Courage! The Spark of Friendship!"

I got all giddy about how the old shows always had the main character kid who was courageous, strong, brave, etc. etc.! It's super cute!

Though it looks like as it moved on it got a little weird xD There was the ADventure, Adventure 2, The Tamers (with the three kids I think) Frontier (Sailor moon style!), and some new one with REALLY REALLY OLD KIDS! My favorite though was when they kept the youngins from the original and gave them a bigger spotlight, that was awesome!

ALSO! I really love whoever does Kari's voice, she also does Hikaru in Figure 17! I bet I could find out who else she does if I look, which I think I will now!

ALSO at the beginning of the tape, there was a preview for a Power Rangers season, (TIME FORCE!) and all I could think about was how on "Is it a Good idea to Microwave this?" on Youtube the guy mentions that there are endless seasons of Power Rangers xD

...It almost inspired me to want to dub the rap at the beginning of the movie! Digivolution and a digitude, somethin something...xD

Waugh! I Love watching that tape! The Flea market is a treasure chest if you're looking for tapes, notably Tenchi Muyo tapes...TAPES, guys!

Just though I would share that with you, it made me go to sleep in a really good mood!

My friend and I were talking about this today, and she says that in the 3rd Season, Kari becomes a teacher!?
And I also read A wikipedia article, and so far, the newest one diverts away from the original too much for me xD I'm going to Frontier ONLY because I watched it every morning before school in the 5th grade before I left cause I was a safety patrol!

I saw frontier when I went to Philippines over the summer. I-I actually like it. If it was on normal tv, I'd watch. It's cute. LOL safety patrol? XDD hehe

Also, My sister said the same thing about season 2 Matt, cause he plays the guitar and my sister <3's guitar!

And it;s T.K! LOL Though I think Kairi (I guessed on the spelling those times!) and T.K. make a cute couple cause they were both siblings of the original, it makes so much sense!

Frontier was my obsession back in the days, Zoey's outfit was just fabulous to me! I think it was the hat LOL

Oh my, Digimon was epic, I used to be a huge Digimon fangirl, but I didn't tell my friends that I liked Digimon because they thought it was a boyish thing to watch, In my mind I was like, "Screw you britches" XD

LOL they must have been nerds, cause back then Digimon was the SHIZ next to Pokemon! Sure some things are slightly ripped off, but there are some things better in Digimon than in Pokemon and vice versa, so they're both good!

02 wasn't too bad since they kept the original kids and made it more like a sequel sort of thing - though the different evolution routes got a bit annoying... and then by the third season I've already completely stopped watching -- cause it was just.. meh....

Ah Digimon, brings back so many memories. I used to rush home from school everyday so I could watch it at 3 in the afternoon on channel 3. Anyway I really like the first season, like the second season better. The 3rd season was kind of interesting but not my favorite. Frontier was kind of wierd for me since they didn't have digimon partners, but it was alright. Digimon Date Squad I didn't really like, but it could be because I grew older from when I watched the earlier seasons.

By the way, anyone heard of the new season coming this summer. I think it's called Digimon Cross Wars or something like that.
