Honestly, I think we chose this song because it was pretty and we liked the feel of it /laughs In terms of relation to our theme though, we went with going for a childhood friends that moved away approach to match that of our songs story.
Story behind the relationship the two characters in the song have:
It starts off with a boy and girl (childhood friends) who frequently meet up at their "secret clubhouse" to watch the stars, specifically the constellation Orion, and the girl thinks to herself how she believes that the two of them can reach it together.
Growing up a bit more, it seems the two don't frequent their "clubhouse" and although neither mention it, they both seem to reminisce and think about their times there. One day, the boy texts the girl to meet him at their "clubhouse" and he's there with his guitar and the girl cries and confesses that she truly believed they would reach Orion.
By the end of the song, the childhood friends have grown completely apart and have taken different paths in life, but both know that they still have Orion and those memories from the past to keep them together.

Why did you pick this song?: We picked the song because it was catchy, upbeat, and I suggested it to him because I really liked Jubyphonic's english lyrics. We went for a rival/competitive kind of feel (you know...the one you kind of have between friends while playing stuff like video games XD). It starts off with me proclaiming that I'll definitely beat Ruuki in a game and he ignores me and starts singing :'D At the end I end up losing *SOB* and exclaimed that I would get him next time. I sang childishly (as much as I could) for this song to mirror Ruuki's deeper/rougher voice and further show the clashing force of our relationship during the length of the "video game" we are "playing". We didn't know each other at all for this contest so I found it nice to find someone new to work with Smile

I always love everybody's singing, but since I have low self esteem :') I see people as rivals, in a friendly way, so that I can mentally push myself to get better. That's how I kind of came up with the idea for this.
Story behind the relationship the two characters in the song have: Brother and sister (or friends if you prefer, can be seen either way) are playing games/video games with one another. The sister/friend (me) challenges the brother/other friend (aren't I good at explaining things? :'D) to a few rounds of video games, claiming that she won't lose. The sister/friend starts off pretty well and the song is depicting what is happening in the games they play and what kind of moves/control/command they are using. Soon the brother/other friend (second verse) kicks his skills into drive and they tie up until the very end where it seems like the sister/friend won but she didn't. She (I) lost and exclaims that I shall win next time (which I probably won't because video games are not my forte).
