Updates to first post:

Kagi is going to make a hashtag (#YTCBlindDuet) on twitter. She will be helping to monitor that and answering any questions that we get.

We will be accepting entries until we either hit 150 people or until February 13 @ 3PM PST. This will give us enough time to sort pairs and post them in time for the 14th. Currently there are 70 participants, so there is still a lot of space. Hopefully we won't need to cap, because we really don't want to, but I think have 75 pairs to judge will already be quite a handful to do ^^''.

Also, due to the number of participants, there will be NO GRACE PERIOD for entries. Especially since we will not be judging on mix and animation. One of the main reasons why we will not be judging on mix and animation is because this is meant to be a fun event and help people get to know each other in the community. We want to see more what you can come up with together! Give you guys less stress!  

More information will be posted on how judging will work once partners are posted. Creativity (and relation to how theme works for your song / "relationship") will be the biggest chunk. Please note that relationship does NOT need to imply a love one. It can be one among friends or even one about how much you two hate each other (this option can be an alternative for people whose voices just really clash)!

Since someone asked on Twitter, yes, we will allow someone to mix/animate for you if you want. However, they cannot be part of the brainstorming process. This must be done between you and your partner. I want to emphasize that mix and animation will not count towards your final score.

If you have someone mix/animate for you, they will not be included in the prizes, as animation/mix won't be judged. They can still receive the participant badge though.

Tell us a bit about yourself!: I like to mix, draw, and sometimes write in my free time. I have a pretty high range compared to most male singers out there, but otherwise I technically have yet to debut as an utaite. One downfall is that I can't really sound like my own gender when singing, but I'm getting there. (Kinda OTL) Anyways, I'm one of the younger kids out there but I still like to get along with anyone and everyone of all ages and genders.
