Project Diva F localizing in North America for PS3?!?

Soo...apparently vocaloid is starting to get around and the release is now coming soon in ENGLISH! Thank you fans who showed interest in the demo that was brought over! It'll be available in August according to several sources (Amazon/several sites that were confirmed with Sega). Don't believe me? Go google it! As Luka would say to Gakupo ;3  

I'm interested in checking it out (only saw the Japanese ver. my friend imported and played with on her PSP) but alas--on amazon it is near $60. I don't know if it will come with bonuses just yet because they still need the package details, however, it is confirmed that it WILL come to America. That in itself is progress. 
 
*unsure of how this rhythm game will turn out but the set list is to my liking so far. Some unheard of titles but there are recognizable catchy tunes--$60 may be a bit of a stretch but perhaps it may be worth it*

Awesome! Thanks for the info.~ perhaps I'll try the demo before deciding whether or not I'm willing to pay that much for a rhythm game. It does seem to have ~38 or so songs and plenty of other extra features. It also takes a lot of time/effort to translate, import and check for smooth performance (I believe region shouldn't be a problem b/c PS3 is an all region supporting device, if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure it's because Blu-ray Discs aren't region locked. Plus, the hi-tech capabilities protect it from piracy ^-^) 
 
Anywho--I digress. Long story short, the process of hauling it to different countries would probably explain the high price.

I legally own the original and it's worth every penny. I even have the vita version. All sega are mainly doing is editing what they already have with the help of their Japanese team to translate it here. It's impressive what they have done soo far.

Ooh sounds great! I frown on piracy and it's great to know someone got ahold of the original version and still could enjoy it ^^. I for one do not have the patience of testing every option and finding out what it does in Japanese ahaha. So I'm honestly really happy that there is an English version~

Nice! Do you consider the gameplay smooth/user friendly? I have yet to try the demo, but I'm hoping to at least try it once or just forget it and buy it anyways ahaha. I just have to save up again >v<;; I recently spent it on an import of Miku's 2-day Concert and boy shipping and handling makes the entire price of the whole set go up...

the game is both but I will say you will have to keep an eye on the icons as some tracks are really fast like 200bpm+ I've goten several perfects.

 There's no need to test things out, you can probably find translations online that you can refer to ^^

Also the gameplay is essentially the same as the other PJD games. You have a few new icon types, and the gameplay is super smooth.

Importing it is suuuper expensive, so we're lucky to see an English release with these titles :D

yeah cost me over £100 + customs fees to import the ps3 version of F

@raidensnake  gah. sounds tough for some songs ahaha--but I guess that's just what makes it fun >U<  CHALLENGE ACCEPTED *or at least when I get it--I will attempt to survive ahaha*~
