random question being asked

Sorry if this is random but who here owns a kinect for xbox 360? also more importantly does it have a power supply for it? The main reason why I'm asking this is because voice actors get the chance to do their own animations as the camera can be used as a motion capture device for 3D animation. I was suggesting that maybe sometime we could get a group of people recording motion data for rendering.

But YTC is full of people only sing, mix and animate....thus only attract these kind of people mostly. ....little actually do dance or onto motion i think

That's what using the kinect is all about. It allows things that normally take forever to do. With the 3D animation system it's possible to render multiple characters with their own animations.

The animation Shinji is talking about is different than the one you are referring to. Here on YTC (as stated before) is a forum that consist of singers, mixers, artist and animators.

The animation here on YTC means using a video editing program, such as Sony Vegas or After Effects, to create chorus animations.

In my opinion you probably should go find another forum that deals with 3D animations. As for looking for voice actors, maybe try the Voice Acting Alliance (VAA)? You won't really find anything related to 3D animations or voice acting here.

Im thinking you're making an mmd animation? :D coz it can use kinect to animate~ although the moves are a bit off with the models imo. Anyway,
people here mostly use
1.Sony Vegas
2.Adobe after effects
3.windows movie maker
4. other softwares
When making their chorus / solo animations.
VAA can give you the voice acting thing. about the 3D thing, i don't know anything about it.

well the same thing works with source sdk using 3ds max and motionbuilder using brekel.
