A few random poems I've written. I'd appreciate opinions. ^^ Please and thank you.
A Song
Boogie Man
Death
Fire
Silence
A Song

- The bass rumbles through your soul
The soprano hums in your heart
The tenor makes harmony with your mind
The alto sways with your body
The birds tweet along
The wolves howl in unison
The alley cats meow for their lives
The people join for love
The piano plays a melody
The violin blends notes
The flute whistles a tune
The chimes keep time
Boogie Man
- Spoiler:
- He watches you at night,
While you sleep away in bed.
His ever-red eyes glaring down,
Burning your dreams away.
Nothing can save you now,
Little child, you are doomed.
For he has come this time,
The Boogie Man, FOR YOU!
Death

- Sky falling, water beating,
The ground is drenched in tears.
Red colors the grass,
A heart is broken in two.
A twisted mask,
Once beautiful and shining,
Now showing only hatred.
Finger curled into claws,
Nails broken and rotted,
Hands holding onto lost hope.
Shining light flutters above,
A soul has been captured,
Put in eternal torture.
Sins, faith, beauty,
Love, care, and hatred,
None matter when the Reaper comes.
Fire

To a place unknown
What all it bright.
The shadows creep closer
Come to devour all life
Darkness will spread
Flora wilts to black,
Fauna burnt to crisps,
The monster of flame returns
It spreads rapidly throughout,
Disaster it brings,
With death tagging along.

"A song" is full of creativity. The others are a little (just a little) creepy for my taste.
