A moment’s lapse in time –
While caught in the cracks
In between my reality and yours
I open my eyes and see
Nothing.

But space is deceptive. I know.
Because the precious things in my hands
Always turn out to be missing,
And colour always springs
From where I do not see anything.

What is there in this Nothing?
A world in a slip of time’s feet
I think that if I’d only close my eyes
– Stop trying to see –
I would know.

And where am I anyway?
What kind of reality is yours – ?
We are but ghostly reflections
in each other’s eyes.
What lies in between?

Nothing is ever nothing
This too, I know.
In this giant chasm between us
I think I would not be lost
If I could see the path in Nothing.

I think I have always been falling
Suspended in this crack in reality.
And I, weary of being the traveler
Of unseen roads,
Close my eyes and only walk forward.

I do not know why
But I am not surprised
To feel solid ground under my feet
And to see Nothing collapse
Into my singular road.

Ah, I see that this is
The path I had chosen
From the very beginning.
I wonder why it took me so long
To tread the familiar path again.

Space seems clearer
When I open my eyes again.
The grasping hands of Nothing
Only brush gently past my own.
Whose reality am I in now?



...It seems like... I've made up my mind. My poems always reflect what's on my mind, haha. Sometimes, I feel so transparent~
