ADOBE AUDITION CS5.5

ok.so i really need hepl you guys and i know,im having WAY too much problems with this.
so i just got the most recent version of adobe audition,and it works.but i cant record.it keeps saying the sample rate input and outputs aren't the same and i need to make them the same basically.but I TRIED.and i put the audio settings and the adobe settings on 16 bit 41000.
BUT ITS STILL NOT WORKING.so i need your guys help really badly.
can you help me record? i'll give you cookies.

You should post a screenshot of your configuration settings, then we can pin point what is wrong Print screen is your friend.

Did you change anything in microphone configuration in Windows? You don't usually do anything there so if you did, just reset it all back to defaults.

When it comes to Adobe, I can't really say anything since it pretty much looks correct. Try and set the master clock to the same as the Output and see if that works.

Also, what is "device class"? What are your options there?

i honestly dont know... this is all too confusing....

On Device Class, set it to WDM/Kernel streaming, or it's called WaveRT.
