Adobe Audition 3.0
Well I recently got Adobe Audition 3.0 and whenever I start it up I get a weird error that crashes the program. It's an error labeled R6025 and I'm running Windows Vista if that helps. I've googled this and alot of other people seem to be having this issue also.
Re: Adobe Audition 3.0
Did you try reinstalling it? If that doesn't work, then this might help:
you can try configuring your Data Execution Prevention
Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings (on the left bar)
A pop-up should come up then go to the "Advanced" tab. Under performance click "Settings" and go to the "Data Execution Prevention"
Select "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select"
Then click "Add..." and navigate to the Adobe Audition launching .exe file.
It should start to work properly hopefully. xDD
(NOTE: I forgot at which stage they will ask you to reboot/restart your computer so don't be alarmed if you get prompted to do so in between one of the steps!)
I use DEP when I have problems with opening or starting up programs and I find that it usually works. Vista is quite troublesome with all it's security shizz.

Re: Adobe Audition 3.0
I've re-installed it twice and I've just tried out your instructions above Kranda. Still running into this error but thanks for the suggestion.
Re: Adobe Audition 3.0
i'm guessing it doesn't go well with windows vista, because i have the same problem and i have windows vista....
i guess it has to do with that or something else....

Re: Adobe Audition 3.0
Get Adobe Audition 1.5. I find that it works better on the laptop w/ Vista I'm using. It's less laggy (for me) and for some reason AA3 always added on extra seconds when I record.
