We have business studies at our school but only the Sixth Formers (college-ish poeple) do it. I think. But my friends do BTEC.
I might take BTEC this year, the course. Because although we haven't done our GCSEs yet, we get a chance to do the BTEC course and it serves as an automatic B grade in our GCSEs. I HAVE to do it in Year 9 or I will dieeee.

GCSE IS HELL. I'm in Year 10 and got through most of them.. if your talking about years.. possibly your in the UK? O.o

BTEC is alot of more to do depending on what subject it is for..

Apparently I have a slightly American accent. No one knows what my accent is. But they say it's a mix of an American, English and Canadian accent.

I get annoyed by Scottish accents. Well actually, I only get annoyed my music teacher because he lectures us over tiny things. Someone drank water and he gave him a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge lecture in front the whole class, it was so annoying. "orz

Year 9 is 8th Grade in America.
Which means year 10 is 9th grade, year 11 is 10th grade, etc.
It's a little confusing, grades, years, etcetc.

I can't tell whether I have an accent or not, I can tell if someone has one, but I can never tell you which accent it is... /shot

SAME WITH ME! I don't really know much about which accents come from where.
I also can't distinguish between a Scottish and Irish accent (so I think of them as the same thing). In English we were talking about accents and there was a boy and I was COMPLETELY clueless of what he was saying because of his accent. It sounded like he was spitting everything.. LOL

I have to learn about accents in English too.. It was weird, I mean I can tell a bit, but just how can you differentiate them and tell where they come from!? But usually it's all stereotypes..

We usually said that if they have an Essex accent, they're stupid. Well, that's the stereotypical view. I wonder what an Essex accent sounds like. o_O'

And I've never realised it, but you change the way you speak depending on who you're talking with. It's kinda natural actually, that's why I haven't really thought that I change how I speak. But I probably do. It's probably the same with everyone else, if I'm not mistaken. 8D

Ikr, speaking with people in other countries is a problem, because they're like... 6-7 hours ahead or behind. It's so confusing. "orz And they have to go in the middle of the day to sleep and you're really confused because it's still day time... etc etc.

My english teacher is from Essex.. LOL

PITCH DEFINATELY.
I'm overall high-pitched. So, I was talking to my friend once and my voice was normal-ish pitched, which is kinda middle-ish high. And then I had to speak to a teacher and my voice went SUPERRRR high and my friend was starting at me weirdly. And then she gave me a scolding.
Also when I get scared or agitated or worried, my pitch goes abnormally high. LOL. /shot ♥
Maturity levels change when I'm with my mum, sometimes. I act like a 6 year old to annoy her. She says I speak like a 6 year old whenever I'm speaking to one of my elders. "orz
And and I've realised when I talk to myself I'm a little hyper.. ^^;; And then I force myself to stop being stupid because my mum will scold me.

Oh! I just remembered I have a classmate/friend that's from Chezchlezevokia (..okay I KNOW I spelled that wrong xD) and he has a very confuseing accent...I dont want to sound mean, but I feel like he needs subtitles whenever he speaks...(*secretly laughs at stupid joke*)

So.

Friend: A what? Coaw? What's a coaw?
Drama teacher: Yes, a coaw, don't you know what a coaw is, the thing with hawrns.
Friend: W-what? What's coaw? Are you saying car? With a horn? Like "beep beep"?
Me: *LAUGHAGLGUIFOPDSJFAIDJFASFJIDASFJGHUW*
Drama teacher: A COAW. GOSH, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A COAW IS? MAOOOOW MAOOOOOW?
