What's the next song you are covering/practicing to cover?

I need to get two songs in this February (my policy is one cover a month, though January is an exception). One is for Valentines Day, a male cover (I requested lyrics for this) of "Suki Daisuki!" by KAITO, originally by Kagamine Rin. I've been practicing the "anata ore ga" stuff parts after the second chorus for DAYS, but when I reach the "su su su su" parts, I keep running out of breath! I can't afford to breathe in the middle!

Another is the Kagamine Rin and Len duet, "Suki, Kirai" with my wife, Mini, who requested a duet with me for this song. As a husband, Len's lines fits my personality. lol I think I'll be such an imposing husband in the future...

So what are you covering or practicing?

Also, feel free to drop some helpful hints to others who state problems with their practice songs like I have.

i've been practicing to sing Meltdown... and i just really can't sing it well haha! so i think i'm going to move to another song and the title is Nee/Hey xD i really like emo Soft songs~

I've been wanting to sing "Yuuhi Saka" but I might have to tone it down a bit to a range I can reach.

Besides that, I might try and record some of the old school, like "from Y to Y" and "Just Be Friends -piano ver.-".

I'm working on Shinpakuzou (心拍数) #0822... It doesn't seem hard, but I've just discovered I kind of suck at ballad songs... @_@

I've been working on Kokoro,Suki Daisuki, Seikan Hikou, and Akahitoha. Well, those and Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari and Romeo to CInderella.
Plus I wanna redo my Melt2M, Love is War, and World is Mine covers =.=' because I did those ones before I even knew what I was doing in mixing them.

That being said, I have all of them learned except for Romeo to CInderella Mira Shira x'D Just need to record/mix them.

Akahitoha, Nee, SPiCa, Ame wo Tsureyuku, Rain Stops Good Bye and World Is Mine. I have alot I'm doing just now.

I'm trying the newest Gakupo's song, Episode 0. I'm a girl, that's right, but I can sing low-pitched songs too, well... I'm trouble for the lowest pitch of that song however. Yea!

With all my side projects complete (Don't Say Another World is Mine and Melt -Band Edition- for Mini's birthday), it's now time to prepare for K-On Weeks before July 15.

K-On Weeks are two weeks dedicated to covering K-On songs, each week representing two seasons. Each week has 5 to 7 songs sung in each consecutive day, songs belonging only to that season.

K-On Week!'s (season 1 week) is "Cagayake Girls", "Fuwa Fuwa Time", "Watashi no Koi wa Hotchkiss", "Fude Pen ~Ballpen~", "Don't Say Lazy", and starting it off is the character song-exclusive, "Let's Go!". K-On Week!!'s (season 2 week) is "Pure Pure Heart", "Listen!!", "U&I", "No Thank You!" (a second cover lol), and finally "Tenshi ni Fureta Yo".

Ooh, I've got a Don't Say Lazy cover+ guitar cover collab going on with the guitarist of a local otaku band o3o~

I think that soft/ballad/acoustic/piano songs suit my voice best....

I'll either finish up Imitation Black (female version) or try Memory's fragment.

Skipped Cagayake Girls, but I've two of them done with Watashi no Koi wa Hotchkiss next on my plate. Learning harmonies.
