How do you make a Video (I'm a Dummy Q__Q)

... Yes. I don't know how to make a video. *shot and pelted with small sharp stones*

From what I roughly searched about for, I need to:
- snag a video from a YT video in FML (F my life) version?
- convert it to MP4 or AVI file?
- This is about as far as I got.

So the question remains, what else is there to it and what programs am I to use.
I suck with all things electronical.

what i did was download the "Free Youtube Download" tool from dvdvideosoft.com :O

this can automatically convert the YT video urls into AVI or anyother format

^^ The Free YT downloader works. owo Making videos on your own is a whole different realm.

You can also get videos off of NicoVideo; they usually tend to be better quality because it hasn't gone through a downloader 50000 times already. xD

XD; I was able to convert the video to AVI and MP4s but I also don't know how to wipe the original sound and add in my own. Should I be using something better than Window's Movie Maker?

I'm a Sony Vegas and AE user myself, but for PV's WMM is enough. ^^

I believe that in WMM, you will get two tracks by dragging and dropping in the video into the timeline; an audio track and video track. If I recall, WMM can't delete the entire audio track, so you have to right click on the audio track and click 'mute'. Sound won't play in the video from the original audio now.

o.e I think you can just drag'n drop in your audio below it afterwards. =A= *hasn'tusedWMMinayearandahalf*

i use audacity & WMM
i use the YT audio converter to rip instrumentals from videos,
then i import the instrumentals into audacity where i sing then export it as a mp3...
after that, i import that mp3 into WMM where i delete the movie's original audio to add my vocals
