Nico High Quality Downloading

I been wondering how everyones downloading off nico video? I cant find out how.
I tried tutorials from youtube or google and its not working.
I want to rip high quality video's from nico rather keep getting it off youtube.
When i rip it from a high quality youtube, the quality goes really bad, so i want to know what people do to get these high quality video's!

Try Craving Explorer but download before 5 pm Japan time. They go into economy mode then.

so that's why I only get econ mode during night.. OTL

It would be best to download the flv then convert it to a suitable video type to insert into your video editor. Flv is the direct file, no conversions or anything, so you're pretty much safe when you download it. owo

I'm not sure. o__O;;
But I do know there are still a lot of people online during mn (especially cuz of the utattemita liveshows that are on 8DD; , so it probably doesn't start then.

Seems all the apps and plugins recommended in this forum are not working anymore. Right now the only one I can find that still works and can batch download videos from Niconico is houlo video downloader.

If you don't have a NicoNico account you need to sign up a new account first. Once done, launch the software and navigate to "Settings" page, click on "nicovide.jp" in the list and input your NicoNico login email/password in the right side fields, click "Save Changes". Then you can start downloading the video immediately.

Have you tried Nicofox for Firefox yet? I use that all the time now.
Economy mode thing still applies though. :D
