Btw, I think the last sentence is suppose to be "minna , anatatachi ni deaete hontouni yokatta to omotte imasu", since you are not just talking to one person. Slap me if I'm wrong though.. I'm not pro at Japanese either...
OTL
If so, we have to re-record that shizz OTL!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: AUDITION for a part in my next song
No I am very sure that anata is just fine.
You see, In japanese language there is a huge lack of definition in the area of singular/plural distinction. For that matter there is a lack of distinction in many parts of the Japanese language.
So can the tense partially only be determined by context as well as the matter of a noun beeing singular or plural.
the destinction can be made either through just context, or by adding words that make it clear.
such words would be fixed points in times in the case of tenses or special words or additives for words in the case of singular/plural destinction.
for example:
"hoshi" may mean "star" OR "stars", judging by context (I know that hoshi can mean other things if not written in kanji.)
while "hoshitachi" destinctively means "stars".
as for anata it is rather simple to transfere into english:
Anata = You
You => Singular AND Plural
Anata => Singular AND Plural
Anatatachi = You
Anatatachi => ONLY Plural
(As for better understanding you could interpret "anatatachi" as "you guys" for example.)

Re: AUDITION for a part in my next song
I am pretty sure anata, kimi, watashi, kare.. etc. are not plural.
The problem with most asian language is that they do not have something similar to "s" in english added at the end of the nouns.
You just kind of tell the amount with your common sence.
But that doesn't apply to personal pronouns. You always need something similar to "s" in english to show that they are plural, such as "tachi", "gata".

oh yeah I forgot...
anata is too direct imo, but honestly I dun care.
My sensei says Kimitachi is a the better word to use in this dialogue .

Re: AUDITION for a part in my next song
Yes, kimitachi sounds more appropriate but anatatachi is fine too I guess..
Though the minna in front of them kind of sounds too...daily coversation-ish?

Re: AUDITION for a part in my next song
I posted a new one. I think I done all my records.. I uploaded the last on my last Post (before this one of course.).
Re: AUDITION for a part in my next song
OK, I researched a bit and you are right: it's anatatachi.
So you can rerecord, If you want, but it is not nescessary.
The song is finished for the most. I might or might not do some art for it, but I will up it very soon.
sy,
Kentai

Re: AUDITION for a part in my next song
Sorry for doubleposting.
After painstaking hours of work I have finished, finalized and uploaded the song!
feast your eyes and ears on this:
(the winner of the audition is: ChoAkkar !)
Thank you all so much for participating, it was so much fun working with you!
I'll be sure to inform you if there are parts open in future songs of mine. Due to the strange nature of my everchanging genere, I frequently need spoken roles in my songs xD
