Why did you pick this song?: How is this song related to your theme?
We actually had other songs in mind at the time, but I was running around one day and I heard aniimo playback on my phone and I thought “this song is perfect”, so we ended up doing the original, grrks! Because y’know…. it wasn’t the sibling staring at the other sibling in the shower kind of deal… orz But no, seriously this song is cute!

This song is related to the theme because one of the characters (Gakupo) is dealing with an unrequited love for the other, while the other (luka) is living in self denial about her love for Gakupo. During all of this Gakupo attempts to learn more about the one he’s interested in via the interwebs and thus get the catchphrase “go google it.” (ô‿ô)

Story behind the relationship the two characters in the song have:
So there is this pervert that spends all his time on the computer, and he is interested in this girl and wants to learn so much about her, but out of anger/ annoyance she yells at him “Go google it” as if, all the answers he seeks will be found on the internet. In the end this girl admits that Google won’t know the feelings in her heart, meaning that she will finally share her feelings for “pervert-san” who she liked all a long.
But in our case it's more of a relationship between man & neko so uh....(͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The two characters in this song share a playful relationship. Although, not initially dating the two definitely share a hate-love bond in a humourous way. Which is ironically quite typical in the kinds of shows I watch. Although this song doesn’t represent necessarily a “romance” it would definitely represent a relationship that I would want to be apart of, (and in this case Haru just got dragged into it X3)

Why did you pick this song?: How is this song related to your theme? We chose this song because we liked the message of unity and togetherness that it had! It relates to the theme in that you don’t need to be too close physically to hold a strong and close relationship with one another!

Story behind the relationship the two characters in the song have: For our duet, we chose the song Gemini! Gemini is our story of our relationship as two best friends. The only thing about it though, is that we don’t necessarily live near each other. ;u; Although we may fall and fail, we always have each other to depend on! No matter the distance, we’re still “connected” by the same sky, it’s stars of the night, and everything else that still pulls us together. It’s like we’re the two sides of a gemini. C:

Why did you pick this song?: The pain of wanting to be with someone you care about, but worried that you're hurt them, and you don't "quite" understand your feelings towards the other, your heart says yes but your mind says no. It would be hard to NOT cover this song.
Story behind the relationship the two characters in the song have:
Two girls are in a relationship together.
After a blissful time of romance, their relationship becomes strained; neither party has enough love to keep their relationship strong, and it lies dormant.
Like a metaphorical robot, the two come to terms with their “heartlessness” and decide to separate.
Despite everything, they still care for each other.

Perhaps one day, they can look on the past, when their eyes were only for each other, and start their relationship anew.

Why did you pick this song? How is this song related to your theme?: We picked this song because of the feels. owo (JKbutseriously) The song really struck us the first time we listened to it, and we just went with that feeling we had. The song is a finale in a Trilogy series ‘Your Piano Story’, and we put one of the prequel songs in the beginning before starting on the actual song, to show the difference between the past and now, and it also shows the regret the girl shows, because she was unable to convey what she wanted to. It wasn’t a duet song, but we thought it fit because it shows the two sides of the girl, one who is still a little girl thinking back at her past, and one who is an adult who wants to face the guy as they are now, all grown up. We each represent a side of the girl, her young self which she reflects on and is brought up in the PV, and the current her who realises she is still in love with him. Thus we have two different love stories, because we represent her childhood self and adult self, but in the end these separate stories merge into one romance, because the guy "comes back" to accept the childish "me" that has grown into an adult, so our voices show "difference" and "maturity" 8D;; In other words, the song represents how when my partner and I first met, we seemed really different in the way our minds thought, but as we worked together we realised we weren’t that different after all, that is our ‘relationship’. It was really sweet that through everything the two characters went through (They went through three songs of it) they still meet once again, and it ends with a confession from the guy, there are even scenes in the PV that takes us through their three stages, as kids, teenagers, and adults, and times when the girl thought about how she was once like, and how she is now, and she also wonders if the guy still remembers the child “her”, and the smile she gave when he left. We sang a bit more childishly in the beginning so as to bring out the child side of the girl, the last part was also adlibed to show more sincerity in the confession. All in all we picked the song because it shows us that love is not a simple process, and there are a lot of troubles along the way, and even though it may seem painful or impossible at times, its doesn't take a miracle for love to blossom. And even though you may think you have changed with age, deep down you really are the same person, you are who you are, and though its not an exact “love story” between my partner and I, it shows that a childish hopeful love, and a mature love, the childish ‘you’ and the adult ‘you’ (which are represented by the two of us), will be accepted by someone who truly cherishes who you are.

Story behind the relationship the two characters in the song have: The two characters met as children, and when they grew into teenagers the boy left to pursue his dream, in which the girl responded by giving her brightest smile, so that her smile would remain in his memories.(This is interpreted from the PV and our limited knowledge of japanese because the first two songs had no english translation >< )The second song in the series ended with the two characters parting ways, and in the final song, they finally meet again, which is why there are adlibs of “Goodbye” and “Welcome back”. There are multiple flashbacks in the song, showing us that the girl still remembers him, and wonders if she can still be the same as she was when she was a little girl. In the finale song in which we sang, she once again hears that familiar piano she always heard, and realises how she’s still in love with him, and likewise, the guy fulfilled his promise of returning, after being able to accept himself (Once again, interpreted) He gives the girl a private performance to show her how he’s changed, and how he is able to accept himself, and her confession (when they were kids, in the second song,) The guy in the end runs over and hugs her, telling her how “I finally came for you”, showing how he never forgot her, even asking if she would “fall back in love” with him, just like they did when they were kids.

^^^^Uber late, but....in that way, we can judge fairly on what you turned in on time instead of what you fixed later! There's nothing wrong with improving or fixing your entries--it just has to be separate or, if you're patient, updated after judging to ensure that everyone has the same conditions/chances at getting the prizes! Status update~

Your entries are almost completely judged! Aside from me and one other person *dodges rocks and tomatoes* everyone pretty much put their scores in. Out of the entries received on time (recall we will feature any entries that make it within the month, aka by today, but note they will not be judged) 3 are completely judged.

I apologize for taking so long, but I'm putting a lot of thought into this (30~40min/entry). Please bear with me ^^;; So...should you ever request for the commentary/reason why you got the score that you did...you'll know that mine is the wall-o-text |D Anywho...I'll get through most of the chunk of entries tonight, and will resume Wednesday (March 2nd) should there be any leftovers. I'm working tomorrow and will not get a chance to touch a single one. This is my spring break, though, so this will be wrapped up all nicely before it ends. After we tally up the scores and double check--we will announce the results ASAP.

Status update!!

Everybody sit tight and wait for the drumroll please~ I just finished everything tonight--or rather--this morning!! Managed to crank through the last 27 and the scores are under inspection (checking for errors, duets getting organized into rankings, etc etc).
