Alright.. so it seems we havent come to a conclusion yet.

Maybe we should split it up after all.. For consistency. And less work. We can proly have up to 4 sketchers and people doing plain color, but I think 1 person doing all the lineart would be best for consistency. So guys. Split by group or split by job? Vote now. cuz i don't want to decide.

@ Sumi: I would like to say, yes, you can join, but as I don't know how many people will be turning lines in from each group, i want to put you on hold for now, unless you don't mind singing the full song, and we will take out whichever part we need depending on whichever group needs more members.

if Nako doesn't mind, you can do the final mix? And I'm sure Sei would appreciate animating help :3

Hmmm, When you say, "split it up after all" do you mean like... to a have a artist per group or to slip the job up like an assembly line?

Well, that's what we need to decide.

Assembly-line style would produce pictures that are more similar in style, but would require more work on some parts and file transferring. Though it might be less work for each individual if split up, and each person's different strengths/abilities can be used.

Artist-per-group would require each artist to do the full picture themselves, but no file transferring between people may make it less tedious. There would definitely be a stylistic difference between groups though.

Did I miss anything?

You didn't miss anything. :D

The "assembly line" will require a lot of transferring files and it would be less work for each individual. But the problem with transferring the file is that the drawings might lose it's quality from the multi transfers.

The "artist per group" will indeed require more work out of an individual. There would be a difference in style, but it would be a less of a hassle because no files needs to be transfer, like you said. Even if the styles are different, it might bring each group out and make then stand out.

But, i can't really choose... let's see what other responses we get from the other artistes

If everyone wants the style to be the same, then the assembly line will be a great idea, though the person whose's going to do the sketching will have to draw 50 people. The line art and coloring can be split, but the sketches can not, if the people want the same style maintained. I really don't know which idea is better T^T

I think we should just draw "head shots," it would be a lot easier on the artistes. There would be less to draw, so the assembly line method will take less time, if that's what the conclusion ends up to be. It would also take less time if we decided to the artist per group method. Then there would be more time to focus on the sound and quality of the video, rather than the art -w-

I don't know if anyone else see the way i am thinking here, but it's something worth sharing

eh, well, mixing and art are two separate things.. I think probably only Nako would be overlapping in terms of those jobs, so it'd be easier for her if she didnt need to draw a full picture by herself and mix too. I dont know which would be less time though..

And I havent found any problems with quality from xfering files?

(Was watching out for posts and got nothing, but when I wasn't, all this goes on...)

I don't mind if Sumi will put the mixes together. I only volunteered because there were only four mixers. =^A^=

About the art, I don't mind however we do it, although I do think assembly line would be easier on people (in terms of workload). If that's gonna be the case, I would like to color.

I like the headshot idea too! It would make things a little easier for the artists~ :3 Awww.. I'd love to see you draw Potato-sama! Maybe we should wait for more votes if we'll go for assembly line or per group?

Oh... Actually, maybe we can combine both? There can be an artist assigned to draw for each group, then we utilize the assembly line for the lineart, coloring, etc.?

How about having style guidelines so that the styles wouldn't be that different from each other? (for those who still want it somehow uniform) But personally, I don't mind if there are differences. It just reflects that there are a lot of different people involved in this. Something like that.
