Um.... I think it would be... a lot easier in the original Japanese since the English lyrics don't fit the music at all. For example, you'd have to sing "It was so hopeless" (5 syllables) in the time you originally had to sing "owata" (3 syllables), and it's already crazy fast. Not to mention that some phrases in the Japanese are repeated, and that there's a lot more syllables per line on average than in the English.
