Recording Help.

There are a few questions that's been stuck in my head for a while, so I'm just gonna come right out and ask them -- hoping that I could get some help! Crying

How do you make your voice blend smoothly into the BGM? Sometimes your voice is super obvious in the cover -- which makes you sound like an amateur; too soft -- inexperienced. So the thing is, I'd like to make my voice, like the Nico singers, sound perfect and matching to the song -- if you get what I mean.
How do you record evenly? Although you're just sitting there and singing, your voice would frequently be either louder or softer -- depending on the sound and how much strength you need. Though, that is not the problem because we could always use an audio editing program and make the vocals even. BUT, it doesn't always go the way we want it to be. Somehow the voice is still uneven. Is there any recording technique or effect to change this?
