A question about the microphone..
I am just curious.. does the microphone must a good one so that your voice doesn't change or all the microphone are good and same? because I am using a headset microphone.. and i sound too diifferent from my usual voice.. and when i hear others people's covers, they sound like they sang it in live, it doesn't sound like it was recorded with weird sound.. so I really don't know what to do.. ㅠㅠ

Re: A question about the microphone..
Most of the time there are only slight changes; like noises, compressed etc. So I don't think your voice changes that much with different mics. ^^
Re: A question about the microphone..
Well better mics have better sounds quality like ChoAkkar mentioned. The better ones usually sounds clearer and more professional than cheaper ones, although there are exceptions.
About your voice sounding different, it could be that you're just unused to hearing your "recorded voice". That's the voice everyone else hears while you usually hear your voice being slightly more mature and lower. There's some scientific reasoning behind it something about hearing your vibrations or something, but yeah you're probably not used to hearing it. I know when I first heard my recorded voice I was like "woah, i sound like a chipmunk!"

Re: A question about the microphone..
I don't think audacity can help with your microphone voice problem...
but if you're talking about the noises and static and stuff you can always use noise removal 8D
