How can I hear myself when I record ?

I think with audacity, it's possible, but How Can I do it ?

And I use Samplitude, Ca, I do it with this programm too ?

I know with Audacity to hear yourself why recording go through these steps:

Go to Files -> Preferences -> Audio l/O -> Check "play other tracks while recording new one"

Even if you have the "Listen to track while recording" box checked, you'll likely get a lot of lag and it won't be easy to record. There is another way, when I record in a studio they do it, but... I don't know how. xD

For me, I have this thing called RealTek HD Audio Manager driver.
It can control the volumes of both input and output devices and it includes a playback option for microphones.
