When your recording gets deleted

hi guys~ (I guess nobody knows me though lol)
so yeah..... has anyone ever got a really good recording, is really proud of it and can't wait to post it- when something horrible happens? like, your laptop or audacity crashing?

yup, that just happened to me and I'm really mad, ughhhh. My throat was finally working, and I hadn't posted anything in like 5 months and was excited to come back..... but lol my laptop decided that it was the perfect time to freeze and crash, leaving me with no choice but to force shut it down. And when I opened it back up again..... the file was just.... gone. I'm really mad because it takes me ages to record, and 99.9% of the time it doesn't go smoothly.... =w= looks like I'll have to wait ages before I can post again, arghhhh
