Cover Look Up

Soooo I was randomly wondering, since I know I do this, does anybody ever google for covers of the song they're gonna do before doing it?

Like ohhhh, I'm gonna cover this, I wonder if anyone else covered it, if so I wanna hear their cover! I know I watched most or all the Haiboku no Shounen covers, and I also realized the two songs I'm working on currently, Happy Ending, and Twilight Ticket, neither of them have covers, lol

But yeah does anybody look that kind of thing up, else than me?

I've done this before! I guess it helps to see how well yours might be found if you're looking for keywords a lot of people might be searching but not a lot of people have made results for!

Ironically this is initially how I discovered Lizz on YT when I did my I=Fantasy cover! She did the korean version and I was planning on making an English version at the time!

i try my best not to, because i will compare my cover and theirs and ends up hating mine lol

i also never listen to my covers after i uploaded it, because whenever i mix it im like "yeah this is pretty cool" but after i uploaded it, i always feel that it's best for me to not upload it lol
