I confess that I hate that my parents are always trying to get close to me. Our personalities just don't mix. I'm sociable and they're not. end of story. I'm not allowed to bring friends over to my house...at all....not even for a few minutes. I had a friend come visit me this summer and she drove all the way to my house and my parents said that she wasn't allowed to come into the house and sit down just to talk.
