This one still open right? No deadline right, ehe~ Can I try?

So far I only record using phone. I just bought a mic but need to wait for delivery & it will take week. I assume I will have enough time to learn & practice.

I'm a newbie, I'll do my best to do this XD

Yes it's still open :D there actually isn't a deadline to this (yet) so don't worry about it too much.

In fact--I'm still practicing to consistently hit Rin's high notes. Or at least transition nicely to them...I found that I can hit the notes---but it doesn't sound very smooth/pleasant to the ears. I actually don't want to just "hit" the notes, I want to curve it so that I reach the right one, but come down so that it's pleasant on the ears. It's a work in progress...but it's all a matter of control. orz

one word of advice: when you record from your phone and upload it to your computer--make sure you convert it to a mixable format (i.e. .mp3 or .wav if I remember correctly). have fun and welcome ;D

you're welcome ;D To avoid noise--I recommend placing your phone on a stand, about a wide-spread hand's width away. If you have earphones with a mic piece-- I recommend taping it down near the collar of your shirt to avoid noise made when moving/breathing. That's the best I can recommend to control the noise. As always, the mic is the best option---but if you still want to record with your phone, those are the options I can think of that (may) make it acceptable. I can't promise though. For now just focus on practicing~

Btw, one question. I bought blue snowball mic, should I grab a pop filter too? I heard it's recommended.

no problem. Yeah it is a tough one. But worth it because it sounds so beautiful <3

Pop filter's are VEERRY recommended. ESP. for a professional mic like blue snowball. those things, if I remember correctly, are as sensitive as heck (and their prices are whooa. but the quality delivered is melt worthy). You don't want pop sounds/noise. I use a regular ole Logitech USB mic for PS3 (ahaha rock band =u=b) and it works just fine without a pop filter for ~$20-30 (may have raised up within these years). So idk if it's the same for blue snowball. But maybe you should look in the technical help section? cause I'm no expert. I know a couple people with those mics who had their Q's answered ^^

usually 100+ ppl mass choruses are multiple small choruses or solo tracks mixed together~ very little of them actually recruit that many ppl to do such a giant chorus =D
