Nikki's Covers! {ENTER AT YOUR PERIL. ; u ; }

Okay. So. Uh, figured I'd post a thingie here so that people can hear what my voice sounds like, get some constructive criticism and stuff like that.
I feel like such an old lady in here! OTL I'm 20, so I've got quite a few years of dubbing in my belt. In those years my voice has changed. A LOT. I'm actually quite glad of the change, haha. I'll post a few of my covers from old to recent and let you hear the changes (and hopefully advancements) that have happened!
I'd love to hear what you guys think, and be completely honest, kay? o u o;;

I started dubbing when I was like... 13? This was my FIRST. EVER. DUB. (PS. It's awful.)
 
I really love Rozen Maiden, still do! It's one of my favourite anime and I was so proud of this when I first done it. Now I listen to it and I'm like "AAAAAAAALALALALA". The notes are short and clipped, mixing is awful, mic is pretty bad, and my voice is SO BABYISH.

I'll skip a while, haha. I don't want to spam with videos. I'll skip to when I think I first started showing signs of improvement and started trying more mature sounding songs. 


It's not the most mature song I've sang, but I really REALLY love Macross Frontier. I'm still to this day vowing to sing EVERY song from it. = u ="

One of my first proper ranged songs. Also was one of my first English songs, I was actually really proud of this when I done it. Still am, because of the range that went into it. 

I'll post one of the more energetic songs since all of these have been pretty chill.

My most recent dub. New mic, first time ever attempting subtitles, and I adore Angel Beats. It'll always hold a special place in my heart for feelz and the music. Again, this is another series that I want to cover all the songs from, but since Girls Dead Monster sing mainly strong songs I need to wait until I improve to do that. In case you haven't noticed, my voice is pretty weak.

Big improvements over the years for sure, especially your mixing skills! You have a very pretty voice; very clear and mature. With more practice, you can make it even more beautiful

Ah, thank you so much! Right now I've been focusing on trying to strengthen my voice more. I love ballads, but usually my voice just can't stand up to the big notes. One thing at a time! c:

Aww, thank you. <3 I'm hoping now I have a better mic my recordings will improve and I'll get stuff up more often.
