She had always loved the deep grey depths of the ocean before her. Every day, the crowded buildings and faceless people around her suffocated her, drowning her little by little until she was hardly more than a shadow. The ocean was her only comfort, but even that was taken away from her as the years passed and the others began invading the once silent beaches. Once, she loved the bright blue sea of the summer. But now, she could only seek her peace in the grey storms and turbulent waves of a cold winter day.

She belonged here on the cold sand, standing in the rain that washed all her tears away. She belonged here, in a dark, colorless place that no one could possibly love.

So when the witch came to her one stormy night, she traded her warmth away for the chance to sink deep into the sea. Deeper and deeper she sank, into the cold grey depths where no one could find her. Her clothes and face were torn by the coral, and her once beautiful hair was tangled in a mess of kelp.

But then he came to her. A young man, brave beyond words, who sought the girl he had seen on that beach. A girl who cried in the rain, but stood bravely on even as the wind tore at her skin and the thunder threatened to drown her. Her song was the most beautiful one he had ever heard, and he had always stood, watching her silently, captivated by her strength and beauty.

When she sank into the sea, he followed her desperately, holding his breath and searching everywhere for her, but couldn't reach her. Helpless, he stood alone on that beloved beach, waiting for a glimpse of her.

He eventually turns to the witch, begging her to give him wings that would bring him to the girl who had drifted so deep, so far away. And so, his hope is carried in a bottle of light and he allows himself to be consumed by the darkness. He jumps into the depths of the sea to search for her, bringing with him all the warmth and love that he could carry.

In the darkest depths of the sea, the girl catches a glimpse of a warm glow breaking into her sanctuary. Unable to help herself, she swims towards it, the light unfamiliar after so long in the darkness. She is captivated by the sight of a young man, swimming desperately towards her with his arms outstretched. But as she meets his eyes, she catches a glimpse of her ugliness reflected without his pure, bright spirit, and hides away again in shame. She surrounds herself with the sharpest of coral and stone, determined to remain in her darkness forever, as she deserves.

“I do not have a face worthy of showing anyone, Just leave me alone!” 

His hope is lost as she turns her back to him again, and his warmth slowly begins to fade. His body grows cold as he sinks deeper, determined to follow her until the end even as his own light blinks out little by little. No matter how hard he tries to call for her, his voice never reaches her, lost into the depths of the ocean.

As she feels the cold of the ocean once again surround her, the girl begins to panic. She has lost sight of the young man, and suddenly, the darkness is no longer a comfort. The cold is no longer her sanctuary. It becomes a prison cell, holding fast onto her and to that beautiful young man that she has dirtied and dragged down with her. Crying, she reaches out for the first time, searching for him in the darkness surrounding them both.

The moment their fingers touch, the sea around them is set aglow and the young man's wings surround both of them in a beautiful sheet of pure white. The girl fearfully looks away, refusing to see the reflection of herself again. But he gently tilts her chin up, raising her head so that she is forced to look at him.

She meets his gaze and her eyes widen in shock to realize that the darkness that shrouded her for so long is gone. The scars remain, but the colors that were so beautiful and bright on him fill her equally. The darkness she buried herself within blinded her to the colors within her, the beauty that he saw every time he looked to her.

“Look, you have beautiful colors hidden inside of you.”

He gently embraces her, letting the soft waves around them untangle her hair and sooth the cuts across both of their hearts. The two are mended as one, and for the first time, the girl of the deep sea smiles. It is rough and still trembling, but even so, she steps forward and clasps his hand tightly as the two take their first step back to the surface.

The storm has surely ended, and her beloved blue sea has returned.

Since the reason we picked the song and the story behind the characters are interrelated, I'll explain them together!

The theme for this round if I'm not wrong is about how we met. Shin and I decided since we could both genderbend, we had to use it! We came up with the story first actually. Which is why my explanation for both questions are interlaced. The basic outline of the story (keep in mind we're normally really high and drunk people) is that Shin and I are trannies o3o Basically, we fell for each other in seperate places. However, Shin doesn't know I'm a tranny and vice versa. Hence, since we don't have the courage to tell each other our secrets, we end up thinking that we can never be together. 

The reason why we chose the song, hence, is due to the content of the story. Just a Game also has a kind of sad feeling to it. And the character in the song also does not end up with her loved one. Plus it's kinda catchy and Shin and I are suckers for jazzy songs~

That's the basic outline. I actually only rushed the mixing just so I can share this story because we came up with it in the middle of the night I think. I apologise to anyone who might be offended by the use of trannies here OTL We were drunk. idk. Yeah. Sorry OTL
