Chorus Battle Group - Looking for MALE singers/mixer/animator

Hello everyone.

Currently I am part of a group that is taking part in a chorus battle/competition. This competition is currently known by the name Serendipity, held by KChan on Youtube, judged by various utaite. I am looking for several more singers to be a part of this group with us. It starts in January, and you will need to be available to join us for all the upcoming rounds that follow (there's usually about four). What we need is the following:

Male vocalists: One rather softer or brighter voice, two stronger voices with good range.
Female vocalists: We need a softer or bright female voice, preferably a mezzo soprano or soprano (If you are an alto, but are very comfortable singing higher, this is also okay.) As well as a stronger and warmer voiced mezzo soprano or soprano. 

We are also accepting a mixer and animator, so if you are one and you are interested give me a sample or samples, and the program you use.

The battle does not actually start till January, and thus, I haven't any further information.

Here it sounds like you're a group entering a contest run by someone else, and are looking for more people for your group. On Twitter, though, it sounds like you might be one of the people running the contest, and other people are going to enter! What's right?

Is there a thread, message board, youtube channel, where a previous iteration of this contest has been done? One that I can look at for reference?

Do you know-- well, do you know any of the rules, yet? But specifically, do you know if new instrumentals will be allowed?

In that case, what are you looking for in a group?

As in, do you have any theme for the chorus group as a whole? Do you want a balance of males & females? Do you plan to cover mostly songs from one genre (if the theme allows), or mostly from vocaloids, or something like that? Are you hoping to go into the battle really aggressive, with intent to win, or is it more of a fun, casual thing?

That last bit I'm just mentioning because a lot of people cover japanese vocaloid music here. I didn't mean that I thought the song I linked was in japanese!  

Alright let me answer these questions right quick:

We don't have a theme or certain genre set in stone, reason being, those things are often based on the rounds of the chorus battle themselves. We do have go to genres, mind you, when given the opportunity. We are having somewhat a balance of males and females. Ah hard to say haha. For me, the first applies (but more than anything, I like to throw together good vocalists and make something awesome - I find you get the best out of people in competitions), usually for most others, though it is for fun (though people often lie and say this and are secretly like I WANT TO WIN RAGEFACE.) Personally, if the chorus battle allows it I like stay away from vocaloid songs unless it is required we sing them. There are just, such better songs to sing out there. Stuff that showcases talent, you know? There are a few wowish vocaloid songs, but notice I said few. 

Ah what I am looking for in vocalists..
Versatility, uniqueness, good technique, the willingness to go out of their comfort zone
I've also a soft spot for vocalists that do extra than what i script them for.
Owning a good mic is preferable >_>

Note: Do you have anything recent and less layered? I'm not knocking your layers and harmonization by any means, I would just like a feel for your voice on it's own.

I figured the layering would showcase mixing, more than singing, though it does happen to be my voice.

As long as I'm recording something new for you, is there any particular style or song I should do?

By "ballad," you mean a song with a verse-chorus structure, right?

I spent a lot of time recording takes of songs I really probably can't pull off-- or at least, I shouldn't audition with.

In the end, I'm going with a one-shot (or two-shot, as it were) of a lullaby that I wrote. Acapella, RAW.

Hi, I'm Truly, a Baritone-Tenor. I haven't tested me range but I'm comfortable singing everything in the linked sample. And I can test against a piano, if that's what you want.
I'm an able mixer (if I may say so myself), and a dabbler in electronic music production. I like to think I have a fairly strong falsetto, and can have a strong-sounding voice. I will do a hundred takes until I get one that I like. Perhaps best of all, I have conditional access to Protools at school, so doing things like taking the background noise out of vocals should be way easier than it is in Audacity.
As for weaknesses, I'm nasal, my japanese pronunciation is iffy. I'm meticulous and a perfectionist -- I've sent vocals back to the vocalists in the past because "I can't mix this." Although, you sound serious, so that may not be as much of a problem.

I recorded this a while ago, the day after I said "I'll get something else up soon"!
I like to sit on a recording for a week to make sure it's actually passable, but that's not really my excuse here-- my excuse is that I just didn't get around to it.
This is a oneshot (well, such as it is. There's some counterpoint that needed to be recorded separately... so it's more like "one shot for each part") recording that might give you more of the idea you were looking for.

I'm concerned about my Sses, and truly, all of my consonants. It's a combination of the quality of my microphone, and the quality of my skill using it to record.
