Hmm yep, looks like it will be Ai Kotoba II. And yep, open to all. I was thinking for the animation, we could have people write words of love (expressions, too) and it could scroll through the screen instead of doing pictures or art. They could be in different languages, too. Doesn't have to be just something like I love you, but also I like you or something like that.

 What do you guys think?

Sounds good. And it'd be easier than trying to get everyone pictures, making nameplates, and stuff, which would take longer. But i'm sure you'll need a ton of writing to take up enough time to fill the song, so i'll write some random stuff.. to get us started.
Just let me know what direction you want to go in with the phrases, and i might try to think up some more~

Write? You mean, as in.. PHYSICALLY write them, and save as a picture? I was under the impression they were gonna be typed into the video and just animated as such, but I guess writing it would make it seem more.. personalized. Due to the theme of this song and limited staff, we will not be doing individual art for the singers. Instead, please write words of love on a 250 x 70 TRANSPARENT file, saved preferably in .PNG. If you need additional space, it can be 250 x 100. Width (250) can be adjusted as needed, but height (70) should preferably remain the same.

>w< ^ I think it'd be more personalized if people wrote it. If you want to scan it and save it and then get it cleaned up, that would be okay. It'd just be easier for the animator if the files were all consistent and already cleaned up, which is why transparent would probably be easier.

I don't have any animating experience, so if a bigger file would be better, please let me know >_<;;

I resized most of them, but one of them is kinda unreadable at that size. >_< Not to mention the quality just went down. proly cuz i dont know how to resize it without doing that.

Oooh these look lovely! And don't worry about the size then. I really like what you did with the big image. It's so pretty! The important thing is that they are transparent. >w< The text would still roughly fit a 250x70 if it were shrunk down and split into individual lines, but I think this is okay.

Worse comes to worse, if we don't have an animator, I will do layers of text on images and just shuffle through those. xD;

@ Kila: No, I did it on my tablet. There's no way to get it on clear background otherwise, right?

But I guess that would be a problem for most people, who don't normally do art, so they wouldnt have a tablet... what do we do about all those? Me thinks:
1. They can do it on real paper, scan/take a picture, and have someone trace over it digitally
2. They can use mouse to write

Ah... I linked to the on-vocal and off-vocal in the first post, but thank you. xD And as I said, I have the lyrics, I just needed to get the years changed from five to four. Couldn't remember if it was supposed to yosai or yonsai or yonen or yonnen. It's been fixed now though, so all good. >w<

The reason we are changing the lyrics is because Kagi brought up a good idea that instead of singing five years, we change it to four years, which is how old the site is.
