【Divine Reach Saga】 Chorus Auditions 【Closed】

Welcome to the Divine Reach Auditions!

Divine Reach will be a different kind of chorus which focuses heavily on storyline and original songs and content. The group will sing in both Japanese and English with focus on genres such as neo classical, neo ethereal, folk, urban, rock, and various dance styles. Because the group will have so much original content, it is going to be heavily driven by all its members, and thus requires a high level of commitment and time. Deadlines will be strict and must be followed accordingly.

Divine Reach will take place in an MMO (online game), in which the singer's (original) characters, will be located. The setting will be modern fantasy and slightly futuristic technology, with a heavy magical feel. Details for the story will not be released to the public until we find our members!

We are currently looking for the following:

- Nine vocalists

- Mixers

- Animators

- Artists

- Composers (Those who can create songs either from scratch digitally, through arranges, or by creating sheet music for our instrumentalists to play).

- Instrumentalists (We need instrumentalists of all kind, higher skill level is preferred.)

- We may additionally be looking for someone who can remix our songs.

Additional FAQs:

- Singers accepted to the group will be required to sing their lines 2-3 times per song, and are expected to meet deadlines. It is understood people are busy and have lives to deal with, but one should not join this chorus if they cannot find or make the time to do lines.

- Artists are expected to work with other artists at all times, we will need all kinds of artists for character art, background art, and even creature/montster art. You may also apply for single jobs such as sketching, line-art, coloring, story-boarding, etc.

- All members, especially singers are required to participate in the creation of storyline and ideas as well as lyrics for future songs.

Vocalist Audition Rules:

- Must be a solo cover, cannot be a duet or group cover of any kind.
- Must not be tuned in any way.
- Must be a full cover song.
- Preferably a fairly new cover.
- Please sing in your natural voice, so I can get a feel for what you are comfortable with.

OOOH! Something original but also doing covers?! SOUNDS INTERESTING *^*~ count me in for artists this time hehe.

I'll update with the formalities/new drawings because school kept getting in the way of me completing them in color. I'll have to search through all my sketches/linearts or just draw newer ones. I'm going on vacation for two weeks starting this Saturday though so I'll see what I can post before then. *so excited*

Time to crawl back into my corner and scan some more pictures to upload! Hopefully more people see this and audition. -shamelessly advertising- It's not too late yet!! (Today may be the last day...but what if enough people show interest??) Please join~ This chorus has so much potential and I want to challenge myself and meet all you amazing people *^* Plus--learn a ton from you all as we make bonds hehe. Mixing, singing, drawing--whatever it is...I'll be in your care here at the forums~

^ Ohoho thank you for commenting on my audition? 8'D;; IUNO, I think that flute in the BGM would be nice for songs that fit, it's just that flute usually takes the place of the main melody so that people don't use it as much- e A e;;

And yeeh! I'd love to see more people audition~!
