^ my thoughts exactly. since there are just so many people, it would most likely get way too confusing if we tried to give people solos or duets

Ah, I had a thought, but it'd be a lot more work.. for all involved.. except the artists... because at that point, it's just re-using the pictures..
If we wanted solos/duets, since there are so many people signed up, it's also possible to do different chorus videos. Like the one mass one, then like... one simpler one for each group, but again... more work...

I'm sure it wouldn't be too much trouble.. It's just a bit more recording and... if the rappers agree (I don't know how many we have.. forgot to look at that) then we could just use them again for the solo ones...

That'd be a lot of work for mixers and animators x.x

Aside from the extra work for the animators, mixers, and even the singers (since, obviously, we'd all have to sing another version of the song), but it sounds like a good idea.

Personally, I think that 10 plus people singing every line is gonna sound like a clust- er... I mean, a big mess.

I like that idea, IT'S WONDERFUL! but is it too late to change the original idea? We could always just light up the picture like Mochi said. Maybe we could even just draw face shots instead of full body, if it's too much work, because it is time consuming for the artists. (School is not making any free time for me ) Well, let's just see what's best for the chorus

I don't mean we have to draw all new pictures for the different chorus vids if (IF) we do that. Just re-use the pictures from the first, because I imagine they'd be drawn/colored/saved individually..

OH, just thought of something. Because I have a version of smiling that has... 24 singers (including the 2 rappers)..
so instead of 4 different ones, since there's 4 groups, pair up 2 groups for their own chorus. Cut down work a bit, yeah?

About having too many people singing at once.. it shouldnt be a problem if it's mixed well. I mean... have you guys seen the YTC video of Sakura no ame? They had 81 singers in that.

yes, i mean the art work. Now that I think about it, it doesnt seem all that practical either.

I was thinking maybe we should just do head shots, it might make things a little easier and less tiring. But it's whatever everyone wants XD

Or maybe everyone could make their own name plate? Would that be easier? Like something they could decorate on their own as they like..

Name plates would be good ! Simple , easy & quick.

That is simple and easy to do!! Now everyone gets a part in how they represent themselves

But even then, it doesnt seem like 50 of them will fit well on one screen..

but at least now people are discussing. I didn't want to be making all the decisions, but noone else was talking.

Then we'll just save pictures and nameplates for smaller things.

'Cause even at just 12 on screen at one time, if they're big, then they won't fit well. I: I tried.
