Nanowrimo 2011
Hello everyone,
I hope this is being posted in the correct spot. Nanowrimo is short for National Novel Writing Month and since it has to do with writing and supporting eachother I figured this was the correct forum.
Continuing on, Nanowrimo is short for National Novel Writing Month which is an event that takes place throughout the whole month of November. I've been participating since 2008 and have had so much fun taking the challenge. The true challenge is to write 50,000 words in 30 days! Most people when writing tend to get stuck or have no motivation and tend to lose spirit when writing a story/novel. With Nanowrimo you're not alone, everyone is right there with you in the fight to reach 50,000. In order to make it to 50,000 you must write over 1,600 words a day. This usually takes awhile so the goal is to forget all inhibitors and all editing instincts and just go with what you have and keep going. You'll always be able to edit something you have written later on but what's there to edit if you don't write?
Anyways so seeing as november is right around the corner I was wondering:
1. Who participates in nanowrimo?
2. How many years have you been participating
3. will you participate this year
4. What's your story about
5. have you ever won?
6. what's some advice?
7. Whats your nano name so we can all ban together and attack nanowrimo together!

Re: Nanowrimo 2011
1. I participate!
2. 3 years now
3. Of course
4. It's a story my friends and I have all been working on and we came to a standstill so we took the characters we all created and are going to be writing the same story with the different point of views of our characters. Basically these 4 girls become enemy's of the government and get locked away in a mirror and a hundredish years later they're released by a boy and try and uncover the dark secrets their perfect government has been hiding
5. Sadly no but I write alittle more each year!
6. The beginning is always hardest so just make up a stupid sentence and go from there. You can always fix it later
