Not recognized in computer, New Mic or try to fix?

So I got a new mic for my birthday, this one to be exact. Unfortunately, when I plug it into my computer, it says the usb device is not recognized/has malfunctioned, and gives me no solution. Should I attempt to fix this? Is this a problem with my computer (I have a Vista, that might be a big problem already) or the mic itself? Do I need to update sound drivers? or should I just forget it and find a new mic that actually works?

Well... I clicked the link and it seems your mic only works with those 3 game consoles.
Not sure but if it isn`t recognized by the PC and there are no problems with your usb plug and cable, the problem is the mic itself

It says it works with PC though...I've talked to others who have used this mic and they say it should work.

Check if both the plug you connected the cable and the cable itself are fine.

If they are working fine, try searching for a sound drive for that mic and install it

The port is fine, and the mic is box new, and has no damage.

I might search for a driver problem, but honestly, that kind of computer stuff confuses me. I'd probably get too frustrated...

Really, searching for a correct driver is a pain xD

You might have to call customer service about it then and see if you can either fix the problem or get a replacement. I don't think we have the enough know-how to help you out.
