An introduction and a few questions.
Name is Leirus(That's Suriel backwards).
I like mixing Vocaloid music, especially making chorus.
(One of my chorus work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dJNof4VHCo)
Introduction complete.
Questions:
1. Am I allowed to use Nico Nico Douga singers in choruses?
2. I'm not sure if I would like to participate in the chorus competition since I'm rather slow at completing my work(for various reasons ). So am I still allowed to make chorus music with singers, musicians and animators here if they allow me?

Nico nico douga singers? If its like a "Awasetemita" then its fine. A lot of people do that in NND. Just credit back I guess.
OH AND WELCOME! :D

Awasetemita? Um... I don't know what that means though.GARhalla wrote:Nico nico douga singers? If its like a "Awasetemita" then its fine. A lot of people do that in NND. Just credit back I guess.

I usually do a chorus mash up with youtube singers and Nicox2 Douga singers(like the one in the link before.). So is it okay if NND singers are used in competitions?
Probably not I guess.
Oh and thanks for the welcome.

Re: An introduction and a few questions.
awasete mita, or 合わせてみた means:
合わせる
v. (Hira=あわせる) link; agglutinate, adhere; amalgamate, combine; band; compound; harmonize; mix; adjust; adapt
Basically, it means to have "tried, attempted to combine". In this case that would be combining vocals together.
To answer your main question: Yes, you should be able to combine nico nico singers as you wish and post the chorus on the forums. As for official YTC choruses, most likely not.

So... it's a chorus.EroJun wrote:awasete mita, or 合わせてみた means:

Yes that makes sense, which is partly the reason why I'm hesitating about competitions, since I'm more into joining YT and NND singers(the other reason is because my mixing skills are badTo answer your main question: Yes, you should be able to combine nico nico singers as you wish and post the chorus on the forums. I hope to make friends with everybody here.
I would also like to give an info on my current and future work in case anybody would like to sing or make instrumental music on it.
Currently working on: "Hello, How Are You"-Chorus.
Possible future choruses:
"Love is War"
"Romeo and Cinderella+Another Romeo and Cinderella"
"World is mine+Another World is mine"
"Soundless Voice+Proof of Life"
Hope to work with everybody here.
[PS: I'm very bad at animations as you might notice if you watch one of my chorus work. Is there anybody who would like to make animations if I mix the music?
I'm pretty desperate on this one though. Would be great if somebody would help me out.
Thank you. ]

Re: An introduction and a few questions.
Ah hello, welcome to YTC!
Whoa I heard your works and your mixing skills are not bad! Don't say bad things about yourself! If you keep on practicing you're bound to improve
I am sure you will make lots of good friends here. Just look around in the forums and post more ^^
Unforunately, I can't animate so I can't really help you on that
However, I wish you good luck with your future works and see you around!

Awasetemita (合わせてみた) means a mashup of two or more renditions of a song.
