Ticking Bomb [Rp by Rena]

In the year 2100, the world that was once known as 'Earth' has simply collapsed in its own existence. Technology development, which has been skyrocketing on the graphs, has suddenly crashed, relapsed back on itself. As a result, everything technology related crashed too. That meant the entire world, which had started becoming so dependent on things like floating vehicles, robots, high tech cellphones and laptops, relapsed on itself. Destruction and poverty reigned in even the most wealthiest neighborhoods, and people struggled to retain even a fragment of their once easy lifestyle.

As a result of the sudden relapse, drastic changes began to occur. More often then not, food shortages plagued cities, houses were disease ridden, and those that were lucky enough to escape from such horrors still couldn't make do with what they had. Technology had turned the human species into beings dependent on everything, and with its sudden disappearance, havoc grew.

Forty years have passed since the original relapse, and the new generation isn't faring much better. Conditions have hardly improved, and those who had originally clung on to hope have given up as well. To make matters worse, nobody, absolutely nobody, lives past the age of thirty anymore. It's a horrible compromise, rigged by the world government. In order to maintain food rations and appropriate living conditions, no one could live long. Life has become a ticking time bomb for all humans, and they know when it's going to end for them.

You've grown up in this sort of environment and you know that your life will end when you reach thirty. However, you can't stand for something like this. You believe that it's possible to find a way to return Earth to what it used to be, to erase the destruction and bring technology back. Most people though, see your ideas as ravings of a lunatic, and ignore you. There are those few though, who do support you. Together with a few other idealists, you are ready to find some way, any way to bring the Earth to its old glory. Only problem? You're literally a time bomb ready to explode in perhaps ten years. Can you really find a solution before then?
