hi hi! :DDD i want to sign up as a singer~ uhm question!
if you sign up as a mixer, does it mean you just get a chunk of people and mix the vocals raw, add some of the same settings for reverb and shizz like that (discuss it with the other mixers) and such? O: cause if so, i can sign up as a mixer! xD

Do you sing the whole song... or like you can chose what parts you'd like to sing.. like Miku's parts only or Katio parts... or both??

oh, i have um kinda, a good warning (warning? =w=a)

for all of you who really do wanna cooperating yourself on here, here i need you to know that:

please be on-tune.
if you get yourself outta the notes, it's gonna be hard to be solved
unless the people who can do on-tune are more than the out-tune

please be in the right tempo
yeah look im --and i bet all of mixers are also-- lazy to edit things and stuff which is NOT in the right PLACE 8D so yeah be in the right tempo one~

that's all from me and thanks haha soooo the rest is, GUD LUCK : D

:3 thanks for posting that reminder. In a chorus I was recently mixing, there were a lot of issues with correct tempo, and it makes it so much easier on the mixers, especially if we're mixing 150 people, if people just practice a little more to get the right timing.

Just as a little add-on to Sakura's advice, though at least I would appreciate it if you put your main vocals and other stuff (harmonies etc.) on separate files (just in case something's wrong with either one, and also to make it easier for us to do our thing), try to put as much as you can to the other stuff- file so that we wouldn't have like 10 files from one person. We're gonna have a lot of them anyway since this is a really big chorus Smile

@chiroyo: yes, you're right. correct tempo really makes any mixers feel easier to mix even 1000 voices, i bet. i've ever tried to mix 10 and 30 voices from somewheretopic with the fact of:
10 ---> out-of-tempo
30 ---> in-tempo
and the result was:
10 ---> like mixing 100 voices in a century
30 ---> like mixing 5 voices in a day
xD

@thebalticmermaid: yea, i do agree. but for me, except if you wanna do IMPROVISATION-IN-TUNETEMPO. this means you do improve without out from the original notes and original tempo (this is what i always do whenever i sing --no matter what the song is--). but if you wanna do improve-of-out-tunetempo (like making 2nd voice or 3rd voice or 100000000th voice or Cannon tempo or wadsoevertempo =w=), SEPARATE THE FILE. separated file of the original and harmonies will be easier for us --mixers-- to mix your guys' voice --just like what spuun said to you all. : D

there are 6 mixers in this chorus --according to what my sis has written.
if this chorus could reach until 150, we would divide 'em into 6; so each of the
mixers --including me and you-- has to mix 25 people. but well, still.
depends on how much people we would get in this chorus even though she
wrote "150 people".
