Kelp. help* For a new guy
Hey guys, I have loads of questions! Right. In adobe Flash, How do I do cool effects like snow falling upwards, and blowing cherry blossoms and stuff. As well as cool effects with the writing? Is that stuff like really hard? and for the illustrations do i like draw em color em then scan em? I really wanna get to a decent level
Really Really wanna Get good
A few pointers? in the right direction?

Step 1: Stop writing in cyan text against a white background.
While I know even less than you about Adobe Flash, I will assure you that you are going to have to start out with easy easy easy stuff until you get it.
As for drawings, unless you're using some fancy pen-marker to ink them manually, I would suggest you Draw them, Scan them, Line them, and Color them, in that order.

Flash's strong points lie in the fact that you can draw in it, and make interaction. It is also easier to do frame-by-frame work in it than most other programs.
HOWEVER, the things you are looking for are better suited for other programs, such as Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects, etc... (there are more, I just listed the two most common programs for making videos)
You could do what you want to do in flash, it is much easier to do it in other programs.
I don't know a lick of flash, so unfortunately, I can't help you out here.

Re: Kelp. help* For a new guy
AE has alot of effects that you're looking for, but it's more RAM intensive. IF you use Vegas, you will have to resort to using stock videos found on the net for some of those effects, since there arent that many easily-found effect plugins for Vegas with those effects.
Re: Kelp. help* For a new guy
LOL "The dude with the medals";;; That's a first. XD; There are people with more medals that actually try and go out to get them. They don't really mean much (at least to me >3>;; )
But ah, yes, AE is MUCH more ram intensive, and has a steeper learning curve, but it's far more intuitive and results in more polished and professional looking videos. (If you know how to use it). It also has the reverse snow effect like you would want. Blowing cherry blossoms would be a lot more difficult and possibly involve particle emittors and stuff. D:
Vegas is much easier to learn, and has instant preview (unlike AE's ram preview) but has its restrictions.
They both have their pros and cons. Since you have both, I suggest you try them both out and see what you think. For both though, having some basic Photoshopping (or any image editing) skills would help A LOT.
